Eric Dylke

Eric's passion for music was ignited after hearing Nirvana's "Nevermind" album. He's never looked back since. Eric's vigurous love for 90's alt rock has lead him on a 20+ year career of teaching, recording and performing in various capacities.

Eric now brings that experience to L&M Seton as Lessons Coordinator. His mission is to facilitate the joy and benefits of music education to as many folks as he can. Welcome to the lesson centre!

Kris Yourss

Kris is a passionate musician who has been playing been piano since the age of 6. Classically trained, he has developed a deep appreciation for the transformative power of music. Along with piano performance, Kris enjoys songwriting as another outlet for artistic expression. Kris firmly believes in the profound impact music has on people's lives - its ability to heal, inspire, and unite. Kris is excited to be part of a team that helps others discover the joy of learning music.

Bob Fenske is one of Alberta’s premier percussionists, holding a Bachelor of Music (with Distinction) from the University of Alberta and a Master’s Degree in Percussion Performance from the University of Calgary. An accomplished performer, Bob has spent more than a decade touring internationally with the acclaimed group Barrage, appearing at Disney World and Disneyland, and on PBS, MuchMusic, CMT, and CBC.

Bob has performed with many of Alberta’s leading ensembles, including the Calgary Philharmonic Orchestra, Edmonton Symphony Orchestra, Rocky Mountain Symphony Orchestra, Alberta Ballet, Calgary Opera, Theatre Calgary, Calgary Jazz Orchestra, and numerous contemporary groups. As an active session musician, he also records with studios and independent artists, and has built an impressive collection of rare and unique percussion instruments from his travels around the world.

Passionate about music education, Bob enjoys sharing his knowledge with students of all ages and skill levels. His lessons combine technical excellence with enthusiasm and encouragement, helping students build confidence, musicianship, and a lifelong appreciation for music.

Lesson rate: $35 per half hour.

Graeme Newburn - Drums music lessons in Calgary Seton

Graeme Newburn is an experienced and versatile drummer who began playing at age 8. He holds a Bachelor of Music in Jazz Performance from MacEwan University and has a strong background in performing, writing, and recording across Alberta.

Graeme’s lessons are dynamic, engaging, and tailored to each student’s goals—whether building a foundation as a beginner or refining advanced skills. He brings depth, flexibility, and enthusiasm to every lesson.

Lesson rate: $32 per half hour.

Jeremy Brigham - Drums music lessons in Calgary Seton

Jeremy Brigham is a multi-instrumental teacher offering lessons in guitar, drums, and piano. He began piano at age 3, later adding drums and guitar, and has been active in school music programs as well as multiple bands.

Jeremy currently plays keyboard for Jackson Reed and The Silverbirds, guitar in SorryNotSorry and The Craig Silver Band, and lead guitar in the metal bands Still Hollow and Exit Wound. His broad experience gives him a versatile foundation to inspire students across styles.

Lesson rate: $32 per half hour.

Rick Coumont - Drums music lessons in Calgary Seton

Rick is a passionate drummer with 15 years of playing experience and 8 years of teaching, specializing in children and young adults. He holds a Bachelor’s degree from St. Mary’s University and has experience teaching in both school and private settings.

Rick focuses on contemporary music, particularly modern rock, pop, psychedelia, prog, and alternative styles. His student-centered approach ensures that lessons are engaging and adapted to each learner’s goals and interests.

Lesson rate: $31 per half hour.
