Eijaz received his Bachelor of Music Degree from Vancouver Community College in 2022 as a Jazz/Contemporary Guitar major. He started his musical journey at age 5 on piano and completed Royal Conservatory of Music Grade 6. At age 12, he switched to guitar. He also has the ability to play and teach bass guitar and ukulele. He has performed in numerous local bands across the Lower Mainland area, and he composes his own music under his solo project. While he mainly specializes in genres in the realm of Rock, Metal, and Pop, he is capable of teaching other musical genres such as Jazz and Blues. He specializes in theory and technique and prides himself on his ability to adapt to students’ learning styles and needs. He has experience working with students of all ages and levels. Eijaz is incredibly passionate about sharing his knowledge of music and ensuring that students have a very positive and exciting learning experience. Eijaz's rate is $30.00 per half hour lesson.

Harrison has a Diploma in Jazz Studies from Capilano University and is currently working to finish his Degree there. He has been playing in local bands since 2011 and is interested in many styles, from Blues, Rock and Metal, to Flamenco and Reggae, as well as Jazz and some Classical styles. He currently plays guitar in a local metal band, and continues to compose his own music. He has been teaching since 2016 and has experience teaching private and group lessons in guitar, bass, ukulele, music theory, ear training, and composition. Keenan Render is a Guitarist, Composer/Songwriter, and arranger from Vancouver, Canada. His writing spans across a breadth of genres from jazz to metal. He is a graduate of Vancouver Community College's Bachelor of Applied Music, where he studied Composition and Jazz & Contemporary Guitar. An avid collaborator, Keenan is fascinated by the interdisciplinary collaborative process. This includes working with graphic scores, scoring for video games, and more. He is also a self-acclaimed "gear-nerd", always looking to explore new technology in guitars, plugins, pedals, or DAWs. Keenan's rate is $31.00 per half hour lesson.

Matthew Pancoust (Guitar, Bass Guitar, Ukulele)

Matt has been playing guitar for 15 years and teaching since 2017. Matt continuously composes, tours and performs with multiple groups in the Vancouver area, including his own project Truent — which has seen him performing alongside Voivod and Archspire. In addition to focusing on growing his musical career, Matt has a passion for teaching and has been working with students in both group and private lessons since 2017. He specializes in creating fun learning environments and exciting lesson plans that focus on the fundamentals of guitar playing, such as theory and technique. While he specializes in the rock and heavy metal genres, Matt is well versed in various styles of music, and is quick to cater to the special interests and skills of his students. Michael "Chico" Cham (Guitar)

Michael (also known as Chico), was educated in Classical, Blues, R&B and Jazz idioms. Michael obtained a Jazz Diploma and became the music education director for Major Minor Music School in Winnipeg. Michael is a well-rounded guitar player of all styles of music and has been performing and teaching in the music industry for over 30 years. As well as teaching, he has also been recording and producing in his studio, Chico Productions, since 1997. His years of professional experience and multi-talented abilities provide a contemporary, quality-controlled teaching approach, addressing specific needs from novice to advance. Michael brings a wealth of experience and knowledge to his instruction for all students. Chico's rate is $31.00 per half hour lesson.

Mike Williams (Guitar, Drums, Bass Guitar, Ukulele)

Mike Williams teaches acoustic and electric guitar, drums, bass guitar, ukulele and songcraft. A seasoned musician and educator with more than three decades of professional playing and teaching experience, he began performing professionally in 1990 and has extensive live and touring experience in punk rock and metal bands. Mike also has extensive experience in digital recording and mixing and has produced instructional videos that have received several million views. He previously taught at Long & McQuade Musical Instruments from 2005 to 2015 and is excited to return after more than a decade. A two-time Vancouver Guitar Shred-Off winner and Canadian FACTOR arts grant recipient, he teaches students from beginner to advanced levels in all styles, specializing in rock, metal, and blues. His drum instruction includes both traditional and matched grip techniques and advanced approaches to modern rock and metal playing. Mike focuses on strong fundamentals while helping students learn the music they are most passionate about. Mike’s rate is $32.00 per half hour lesson.

Steve is an enthusiastic guitar instructor with over 13 years of teaching experience, specializing in rock, blues, and pop. He has taught privately and at Long & McQuade locations in Regina and Calgary and studied classical guitar at the University of Regina. With extensive gigging experience in cover bands and original projects, Steve offers practical, personalized lessons to help students achieve their musical goals.
