Anthony Kelly is a contemporary guitarist who is proficient in classical, flamenco, fusion, rock, metal and progressive styles of guitar, with over a decade of teaching and performance experience. Anthony studied at VCC in the Bachelor of Applied Music program as a classical guitar major and jazz/contemporary guitar minor. Anthony has also studied guitar under Canadian virtuoso guitarist and music producer, Dave Martone, where his primary focus has been in instrumental guitar in the style of Steve Vai, Joe Satriani, and fusion guitarist Greg Howe. Anthony is also influenced by bands like Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd, Iron Maiden, Ozzy Osbourne, Metallica, Pantera, Polyphia, Tool, and Dream Theater.
His rate is $31 per half hour lesson.

Ben Lockwood studied music theory, performance psychology, composition and arranging at the Dartington College of Arts, where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts with Honours-Music (Performance). He has performed professionally on flute, saxophone and clarinet in the United Kingdom and internationally. He has taught students of all age groups and experience levels in both private and school settings. His students are consistently successful at exams, with some having gone onto study music at notable institutions such as the Royal Academy of Music in London, and the Leeds Royal School of Music. His rate is $30 per half hour.

Jessica is a classically trained multi-instrumentalist specializing in woodwinds. She holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Performance from the University of Calgary and a Diploma in Music from Kwantlen Polytechnic University. Jessica has taught private lessons and coached small ensembles for over 15 years. She prides herself on working with students to customize lessons to their learning style. She currently performs with the Delta Concert Band and a trio specializing in wedding and event entertainment within the Lower Mainland. Having over 35 years experience performing solo and in both large and small ensembles Jessica plays in a variety of styles including classical, jazz, rock and pop. Her goal is to inspire students to play and encourage constant learning. Her rate is $30 per half hour.

Kai Basanta is a highly versatile and intuitive drummer with over a decade of experience performing and recording with a diverse range of artists. A passionate improviser and music producer, he is committed to constantly learning and developing new techniques and approaches to music. Known for bringing creativity, energy, and a unique artistic vision to every project, Kai is also a natural mentor and teacher, dedicated to inspiring and nurturing young musicians whenever possible. Lesley Law is well versed in classical, jazz, funk, R&B, Latin, and rock styles.
She is equally experienced preparing students in the Rockschool and RCM curriculum. Lesley studied piano, bass, and guitar on scholarship at Capilano University then furthered her studies at Musicians Institute and Berklee. Her students are regularly selected to perform in the awards galas of the most prestigious music competitions in the Lesley Law is well versed in classical, jazz, funk, R&B, Latin, rock styles on piano, electric bass, double bass, classical guitar, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, synthesizer. She is equally experienced preparing students in the Rockschool and
RCM curriculum. Lesley studied piano, bass, and guitar on scholarship at Capilano University then furthered studies at Musicians Institute and Berklee. Her students are regularly selected to perform in the awards galas of the most prestigious music competitions locally, provincially and nationally. As a session and live musician on bass, keys and guitar she has played across stages in North America in bands spanning R&B, Hip Hop, Indie, Post Punk, Indie, Pop. She has produced and toured as a music director and mentored many singer-songwriters and rappers. She also provides instruction in composition, theory and music history. 2024 student achievements include Highest Overall Mark Trophy at the 2024 BCCM Festival, 10 Gold and 5 Top Overall Mark Winners. 2024 Richmond Music Festival yielded 10 First Place, 4 Division Winners and selected to perform at the awards gala in piano and classical guitar. 2025 BCCM Festival her students won 17 Gold Medals. 2026 Vancouver Kiwanis Music Festival her student competed and won the Highest Mark Medallion for Classical Guitar and selected to represent Vancouver at the Provincials. Many of her students have gone on to post-secondary studies in music and successful careers in music as charting topping producers and songwriters. Her rate is $33 per half hour.

Lillian has a degree from UBC, holds a Piano Performance Licentiate Diploma from Trinity College of Music in London, is qualified to teach the Kelly Kirby Kindergarten Method & TMA programs, and successfully completed the Music Together Teacher Training workshop developed by the Center for Music and Young Children, Princeton, New Jersey. She volunteers as coordinator of the Richmond Music Festival Society, where she accompanies and also adjudicates for the music festival. Lillian is also a member of the BC Registered Music Teachers’ Association Richmond Branch, Canadian Federation Music Teachers’ Association & Canadian Music Teachers’ Association. She is fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin. Her rate is $32 per half hour.

Maria graduated from the Buenos Aires Conservatory of Music where she also got a degree as a Choir and Orchestra Conductor. She has won awards both as a singer and as a choir director.
