Alexandra Berg is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist who calls Victoria home. She’s earned her Diploma in Music Performance on Contemporary Vocals from Camosun College and the VCM, as well as a Graduate Certificate in Composition from Humber College in Toronto. She loves exploring a variety of vocal genres with her students like jazz, R&B, folk, musical theater, and pop. She also offers beginner and intermediate lessons for concert flute.
Alex's rate is $30 per half hour.

A multi-instrumentalist, Andrew is a performer and composer, as well as educator and has degrees from UVIC where he studied classical music and Humber College in Toronto where he studied jazz. He performs regularly in a variety of genres including jazz, reggae, funk, hiphop and rock.

Bryn performs in a wide variety of styles with various groups around BC. He has a BMus from UVIC and was previously principal trumpet with the Vancouver Island Symphony. He teaches all the brass instruments.

cleo yong (Violin, Viola)

Cleo Yong has been teaching musicians of all ages and abilities since 2015. With a bachelor’s degree in Violin Orchestral Studies from UVic (2022), she is currently pursuing an MA in Musicology from the University of Victoria. As part of her music education, Cleo studied and performed both the violin and viola. Cleo enjoys guiding her students in their musical learning adventure and sets achievable practice goals to maintain steady improvement.

Issah continues to be a powerful force within the local and international music community.

In addition, he is a composer, music festival adjudicator, and award-winning published poet.

Patrick Walters is a graduate of the Berklee College of Music and has been teaching since 2003. He specializes in rock, blues, jazz, and acoustic styles. Guitar Player magazine has called his music "elegantly beautiful". Patrick has always had a great love of music which has always fueled his guitar playing and composition. He understands that everyone learns in their own way and at their own pace and when a student finds the right musical path, learning becomes a joy.
