Danielle Faulkner

Danielle Faulkner (Voice)

Danielle holds a Bachelors degree in Music (Opera Performance) from UBC, as well as RCM certifications in Voice, Piano, and Theory. She has performed as a soloist with UBC Opera, the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, and locally with the Kamloops Brandenburg Orchestra and the KSO. Danielle gives students of all ages a strong foundation in vocal technique and music theory to allow for true freedom in singing all styles of music. Her rate is $25 per half hour.

Emily McTaggert

Emily McTaggert (Voice)

Emily is classically trained in voice and has had great success in local and provincial music festivals. She performed in the TRU Chorus, assisted teachers in the Kamloops Interior Summer School of Music, and continues to perform as a duo with her father on guitar. Emily uses classical, popular, and musical theatre styles to develop technique and student confidence. Her rate is $23 per half hour.

Jackson Marshall

Jackson Marshall (Guitar)

Having studied jazz guitar at Capilano College, along with classical music, theory, and musicianship at Douglas College, Jackson can work with students on many styles of music. His performance background includes rock, metal, folk, pop, and blues. Jackson also enjoys using improvisation and jamming in the lessons, and works with beginner to intermediate students of all ages. His rate is $24 per half hour.

Jayson Lockerbie

Jayson Lockerbie (Piano)

Jayson has studied RCM Classical Piano & Theory (Lvl 9), competed in music arts festivals, and continues to study to enhance his knowledge for teaching. In addition to his love of Classical music, Jayson uses Pop music, Rock, and Jazz in his lessons. His rate is $23 per half hour.

Jesse Jones

Jesse Jones (Voice)

Jesse has performed professionally for over 30 years as a singer, TV host, and musician. He teaches classical, musical theatre, and popular styles of voice, to all ages, preparing many students for auditions, recording, exams, and festivals. Jesse has also directed many group productions and summer programs. In 2013, Jesse was a national finalist in Senior Star, competing nationally in Niagara Falls. He continues to be a very active performer while teaching with us. His rate is $27 per half hour.

Jim Cochran

Jim Cochran (Guitar, Bass, Mandolin, Lap Steel)

Jim has been a teacher and professional musician for over 30 years, playing guitar, bass, mandolin and lap steel guitar. He studied music at Grant MacEwan College and has performed with various groups from duos to 11 piece show bands, continuing as a very active professional musician when not teaching. Jim teaches a wide variety of music styles to students of all ages. His rate is $24 per half hour

John Webber

John Webber (Drums)

John has played every style of music professionally as a drummer, has worked full time as a musician in the city of Vancouver, throughout BC, and has vast teaching knowledge. He teaches students of all ages, at all skill levels, and also has experience teaching students with special needs and disabilities. Some of his students have continued professionally in stage shows, cruise ship ensembles, and touring bands. His rate is $23.50 per half hour.

Judy Petersen

Judy Petersen (Piano, Keyboard)

Judy has taught both popular and classical styles of piano and keyboard with us for over 20 years. She holds a degree in Music Education & has prepared students for exams, festivals, and university program auditions. Judy also helps students develop their own compositions, and skills in arranging for singing and playing their instrument. Her rate is $23 per half hour lesson.

Noni Gullford

Noni Gullford (Piano, Clarinet)

Noni holds a Bachelor of Education from University of Alberta and has extensive experience teaching children of all ages. She teaches classical piano and clarinet at all levels. Her rate is $23 per half hour.

Sabrina Trigg

Sabrina Trigg (Piano, Clarinet)

Sabrina has played classical and jazz piano for over 16 years. She works with community bands, choirs, and orchestras in Kamloops. She has also worked in pit orchestra for 10 different musicals, as Assistant Director for 2. Sabrina teaches private piano, clarinet, and group programs for all ages. Her rate is $23 per half hour.

Sean Luciw

Sean Luciw (Guitar, Bass, Drums)

Sean has over 30 years experience as a versatile performer, producer and studio musician. He has been teaching guitar, bass, & drums with us for over 8 years, while continuing to remain an active performer and recording artist. He enjoys incorporating theory, improvisation, composition and group performance into his lessons. His rate is $24 per half hour.

Stacey Grant

Stacey Grant (Piano, Oboe)

With over 10 years of teaching experience in Piano and Oboe, Stacey works with students of all ages in both classical & popular styles of music. She holds RCM Grade 10 certification in both instruments and performs regularly with local orchestras and chamber groups. Her rate is $23 per half hour.
