elizabeth pawliuk (Piano, Theory)

Elizabeth's passion for music began at a young age. She is the pianist for the SKSS Jazz Band, will be the accompanist for the SKSS 2022 Choir and also plays clarinet, alto sax and guitar. Elizabeth loves to teach and play all styles of music. Elizabeth has completed her Level 9 RCM Piano Practical & History exams and continues to study teaching methods and curriculum strategies to supplement her lesson plans. Elizabeth has extensive experience as a student teacher and peer tutor and looks forward to seeing you in her lesson studio to help you achieve your music goals.
Her rate is $27 per half-hour.

emily zinger (Piano, Theory, Voice)

Emily is a Voice instructor with over 25 years of experience. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (with Distinction) in Vocal Performance & Vocal Pedagogy from King’s University in Edmonton, as well as a Church Music Diploma. Emily’s students have consistently received First Class Honours in both Voice & Piano exams (RCM & Conservatory Canada) & many of her graduates have gone on to post-secondary institutions for voice/piano/theatre & from there, to successful performing & teaching careers of their own. Emily has a passion for the study of voice science and is trained in Somatic Voicework, the Alexander Technique, the Feldenkrais Technique and the Level 1 Estill Method™. She is also Level 1 Certified in Heather Lyle's Vocal Yoga™. Emily loves teaching all styles & all ages.
Her rate is $28 per half-hour.

jayson lockerbie (Piano, Theory)

Jayson will be starting his 8th year of teaching at our location. He has studied RCM Classical Piano & Theory (Lvl 9) & continues to study to enhance his knowledge of music & music education. In his spare time, Jayson writes & records his own music. In addition to his love of classical music, Jayson uses pop, rock & jazz in his lessons and teaches piano & theory.
His rate is $29 per half-hour.

stacey grant (Piano, Oboe, Theory)

With over 20 years of teaching experience in Piano & Oboe, Stacey enjoys working with students of all ages in both classical & popular styles of music. She works to instill a strong sense of theory education & technique in her students. Stacey holds RCM Grade 10 certification in both instruments & performs as Principal Oboe with both The Thompson Valley Orchestra and The Kamloops Brandenburg Orchestra.
Her rate is $29 per half-hour.
