Conveniently located on the west end of Kenmount Road, we offer quality musical instruction for all skill levels on a variety of instruments! We specialize in all styles of music, from rock and pop to classical and even traditional fiddle and accordion, unique to our Newfoundland heritage! Our outstanding teachers provide a comfortable environment for guitar lessons, piano lessons, whatever your interest may be! Open Monday to Friday, 10am to 9pm and Saturdays 9am to 5pm, we offer flexible scheduling in our 14 well-equipped studios. There are no registration fees for lessons and no commitment is required! We also provide recitals twice yearly free of charge for all students, friends and family! Damien has been teaching music since 1997.He is an author, composer, arranger, musician and music publisher. He studied at the Conservatoire de Saintes, France, and has graduated from The Music Academy International de Nancy (Partner with Berkley Music College). Damien was an Ibanez guitar instructor in France for 13 years and an entry examiner for the Music Academy International de Nancy. Damien has played with a finalist participant of the French version of The Voice, has toured in Europe, Newfoundland and St Pierre with several pop rock bands, performed in rock operas and wrote and performed for A CBC documentary. He teaches guitar (classical to metal!), electric bass, ukulele , theory , song writing , and composition; Damien has also published 5 educational music books ! Damien also teaches our Friday Jam Class as well as workshop classes that focus on Groove, Rhythm, Musical genres, Music history, Music Theory, Composition, Musical arrangements and Group Work. He has studied and performed in jazz, classical, pop, rock, and musical theater environments. Coupled with significant teaching experience, his diverse background informs a personalized teaching approach for every individual, keeping students motivated and interested while progressing. Born in Baie Verte, NL, Steve is a guitarist and composer with over 20 years of teaching experience. He received his B.M. (Performance) from Acadia University, and his M.M. (Performance) from Memorial University. His compositions have been performed across Canada, and featured in theatre, video games, and television. Steve’s students have won Gold Medals in RCM exams, and received awards and scholarships through Kiwanis Festival performances. Each Saturday Steve teaches “The Ukulele Society” which is a drop in class where students of any level can join in the fun! He runs the Classical Guitar Ensemble, as well as the Long & McQuade Classical Guitar Camp, a summer intensive that brings teachers from across Canada to St. John's for a series of concerts and masterclasses. Steve's rate is $30 per 30 minute lesson.

Hailing from Ottawa, Sundar has a PhD in Music Composition from University at Buffalo. He has taught music courses at the university level for ten years. His playing and compositional work have been performed at venues across Canada and the US and has been broadcast nationwide. Sundar is skilled with teaching guitar, theory/composition, bass,and ukulele. He has been teaching music lessons for 25 years. He is equally comfortable
teaching classical, jazz and pop/rock and teaches students of all ages and all levels. Sundar's rate is $28 per 30 minute lesson.

Looking for somewhere to jam with like-minded musicians in a low pressure group setting? Join us for our Friday evening Adult Jam Classes. Learn the fundamentals of rock, groove, improvisation and how to play together in a group. Previous playing experience is necessary and you must provide your own instrument. Classes are 1 hour long take place Fridays at 5pm, 6pm and 7pm. Appropriate for ages 18+.

Cost: $20 per class - monthly registration is required.

Join us every Saturday morning at 11:30am starting in September for ensemble music with Steve Murphy. While working through classical guitar repertoire, students will build on their ensemble and classical guitar skills. Previous playing experience is necessary, all ages are welcome.

Led by Tony Tucker, Drumline classes are every Wednesday from 4pm – 5pm.
Students must provide their own drumsticks and practice pads as they learn to play specific rhythms, work on coordination and teamwork to create a powerful sound as a unified Drumline.
