Al Fehrenbach - Violin, Guitar, Banjo, Ukulele, Mandolin music lessons in Belleville

Al Fehrenbach (Violin, Guitar, Banjo, Ukulele, Mandolin)

Al has taught privately since 1996 and has been performing and touring since 1974 in a variety of country and bluegrass bands. He has worked as a studio musician and has performed in musical and theatrical productions. Al works with many different styles and instruments and looks to coordinate his students into musical groups, enabling them to perform at local events and recitals. He teaches students of all ages and levels of experience. His rate is $20 per half hour lesson.

Blaine Warren - Saxophone, Clarinet, Flute, Bass, Guitar music lessons in Belleville

Blaine Warren (Saxophone, Clarinet, Flute, Bass, Guitar)

Teaching music has been Blaine's goal since he was enrolled in the local Centennial Arts Program back in 2006. It was this goal that led Blaine to study Music and Education at Queens University, where he recently graduated from the Queens Faculty of Education. During this time, Blaine studied alto saxophone under Peter Freeman, instructor for both Queens and McGill Jazz. He also spent five years coordinating the Queens saxophone quartet under Peter Freeman's guidance. Throughout his studies, Blaine has also had a variety of playing opportunities including tours to New York and Boston. He's had the opportunity to share the stage with artists including Sarah Harmer, K-OS, Hawksley Workman, and Robi Botos.

Cavan Carson - Piano music lessons in Belleville

From the moment Cavan started learning piano (and various other instruments) at the age of 13, he set his sights on a life in music. Cavan attended Queen's University four years later to pursue his Bachelor of Music degree, graduating on the Dean's Honour list and receiving a convocation award for "Most Accomplished Composer." The following year, he would attend the University of Calgary, completing his Master's of Music degree in Composition, Theory and Performance. Cavan now devotes much of his time to music and teaching. Whether you're looking for the classical dedication of RCM training & certification, or just a fun and relaxed approach, he will be able to help get you where you want to be! Cavan's rates are $21/ half hour lesson

Jimmy Rodgers - Guitar, Ukulele music lessons in Belleville

Jimmy Rodgers (Guitar, Ukulele)

Jimmy started playing guitar at around 12 years old. Learning from the multiple musicians in his family he was able to hone his skills and over time branched out into multiple instruments. Jimmy’s love of performing has led to playing in the Hastings and Quinte area as one half of the duo, The Rodgers Boys. His teaching style is individualized to each person and not genre specific. From complex musical theory to just basic chords, meeting people at their level is his main focus in teaching. Jimmy teaches: Acoustic Guitar and Electric Guitar mainly. Jimmy’s rate is $21/half hour lesson.

Mark Chartier - Guitar music lessons in Belleville

Mark has been playing since 12 years of age and 35+ years later is still active in the music community. He has over 10 years of teaching experience with Electric, Acoustic and Bass Guitars. Mark currently performs with a local classic rock band named ‘Bone Shaker’ and has an extensive live performance background, having toured on the ‘A’ circuit with different cover bands throughout Canada and the Northern U.S.A., and opened up for Chicago, Toto and Gloria Estefan while promoting original music with a Latin Rock band named MeaCulpa (signed with Warner Bros.) Mark continues to study, practice, write and record music in his home studio and has a strong passion for sharing his musical abilities to enable others to explore the beauty of music that awaits them. Students of all age levels are welcome and Mark specializes in tailoring lessons based on each individual. Formal academics and Musical Theory will be touched upon. Lessons can also be taught in French or Spanish. Mark's rate is 22$/30min lesson

Paul has played drums for more than 35 years. He has toured North America, played on many world-class sessions, and composed an Oscar Nominated score. He has produced many top ten singles in Canada, and recently moved to the area. Paul accepts all ages of drum students, and loves to mentor and nurture excellence at any stage from beginner to seasoned pro. Paul's rate is 22$/30min lesson

Sherin Rizk - Voice, Violin, Flute music lessons in Belleville

Sherin Rizk (Voice, Violin, Flute)

Sherin has been a professional singer since the age of 10. At the age of 12 she went on her first Canadian tour and by 15 she had toured internationally. She recently graduated from McMaster University with an Honours Bachelors of Music, with a specialization in vocal performance and music cognition. Sherin is trained in opera, classical, jazz, musical theatre, and pop music. During her time at McMaster, she worked with several choirs and musical organizations as a conductor, vocal coach, sound tech, composer, arranger and concert coordinator, and has also taught private and group lessons for children and adults for 5 years. Most recently, Sherin performed with the Belleville Theatre Guild in their production The Music Man as Maud Dunlop. She is also affiliated with: McMaster University Choir, McMaster Women's Choir, McMaster Chamber Choir, McMaster A Cappella (Macappella), Hamilton Children's Choir, and the Hastings and Prince Edwards Children's Choir. Although she enjoys performing, she finds teaching to be the most rewarding facet of her musical career and is always excited to take on new students, young or old, beginner or experienced, and create a curriculum that fits their goals. Lessons can be taught in English or French. Her rate is $22/30min lesson
