Jimmy offers In-Person or Online music lessons on Acoustic & Electric Guitar, Bass Guitar, Mandolin, Ukulele, Merlin and Banjo to all ages at Long & McQuade Belleville.
Jimmy Rodgers started playing guitar around the age of 12 years old and has been on his musical journey ever since.
Watching and learning from the multiple musicians in his family he was able to hone his skills. With time and years of practice Jimmy branched out onto numerous other instruments.
Jimmy’s love of performing music has led to playing all over the Hastings and Quinte areas as one half of the duo, The Rodgers Boys. He is also known for his Lead Guitar work in the Rock Band "Beyond the Call".
His teaching style is individualized to each student and not genre specific.
From complex musical theory to just basic chords, meeting people at their level is his main focus in teaching.

Joëlle offers In-Person and Online Private and Group music lessons on Piano, Guitar, Voice, Ukulele, Songwriting and theory to all ages at Long & McQuade Belleville.
With over 20 years of music teaching experience, Joëlle advocates for student-led learning, empowering individuals to set their own musical objectives within an imaginative, collaborative, and supportive environment.
Joëlle's dedication to teaching is fuelled by their Bachelor of Music in Jazz Performance (specializing in voice) from the University of Toronto and ongoing studies in vocal anatomy and pedagogy with Dr. Shannon Coates.
Additionally, under the moniker Ten Moon, Joëlle has collaborated with members of notable Canadian acts such as Bahamas, Charlotte Day Wilson, and Daniel Caesar, performing at esteemed festivals like Mariposa, River & Sky, and Campbell Bay, and receiving recognition including a 2019 Trille Or award.
Now based in Belleville, Joëlle finds inspiration in the proximity to water while enjoying coaching multi-instrumentalists of all ages and proficiency levels, with a focus on improvisation, arranging, songwriting, recording, and production.

Mark Chartier offers In-Person Private music lessons on Guitar, Bass Guitar, and Ukulele to all ages at Long & McQuade Belleville.
Mark has been playing since 12 years of age, and for 45+ years Mark has traveled, played, performed, and honed his skills across North & South America.
Mark has teaching experience with acoustic, electric, and bass guitars, has taught students of all age levels, and specializes in tailoring lessons based on each individual. Reading standard notation and tablature can also be taught if desired.
Mark continues studying, practicing, writing, and recording music in his home studio. He has a strong passion for sharing his musical abilities to enable others to explore the beauty of music that awaits them. Lessons can also be taught in French or Spanish.
