Adam has been playing piano for over 25 years. After completing his RCM Grade 8 exam with honours, he entered the U of T Faculty of Music as a piano and composition major. Further exploring his passion for classical orchestral music, Adam graduated with a BMus in trombone performance and a minor in composition as well as attending the Glenn Gould School of the RCM. With a focus on classical piano, Adam's lessons prioritize musicianship and technical excellence while never forgetting the fiery beauty and passion burning at the core of all great music. Bringing years of experience as a teacher and performer, Adam aims to create an open and encouraging environment for students to grow as musicians—sharpen their skills, better understand music and history, and to have fun!
Adam's rate is $29 per half hour.

Johanne approaches teaching with kindness and patience, and strives to help students feel a sense of accomplishment with each lesson. She is committed to helping students achieve their personal musical goals in a fun and supportive way.

Dr Kyle Zavitz is a music educator and pianist from Courtice, Ontario. He holds a Doctoral degree in Music Education from McGill University. While teaching, Kyle is actively involved with research in the fields of Canadian music education policy, curriculum and pedagogy, and musicians’ health and well being. He was the winner of the Council for Research in Music Education’s Outstanding Dissertation Award in 2022. From jazz music to classical, and everything in-between, Kyle welcomes students of all ages and skill levels. When not teaching or researching, you can find him playing guitar or searching for overpriced coffee.

Maetinee has obtained a fully advanced Grade 5 Yamaha Piano Certificate (Japan), Trinity (London), and Grade 10 Piano with Honors from the Royal Conservatory of Music. She has over 10 years of teaching experience in a variety of musical styles such as classical, pop, chords, improvisation and gospel music. Maetinee has extensive experience coaching students for performance in competitions, recitals, and preparing students for piano and theory examinations through the RCM.

Melanie McMaster is a talented and experienced performer for violin and piano. She is a former First Violinist with the La Jeunesse Youth Orchestra, and an OMFA Provincial Finalist in 2023. Melanie has obtained a Level 10 Certificate for both violin and piano through the Royal Conservatory of Music, and is currently studying Piano Pedagogy with the RCM. She strives for students to experience joy in creating music as they achieve their goals.

Rian has had a passion for music making from a young age. His journey started as a jazz trumpet player, before getting his RCM 8 Piano and RCM 10 Harmony and Counterpoint. He has arranged and conducted both youth concert bands and youth jazz bands. He has been awarded multiple scholarships for original Canadian music by both the RCM and UWO, and has performed original music across southern Ontario in professional and academic settings, as well as in recitals as a returning guest. He recently completed his Bachelor’s Degree in Music Composition from the University of Western Ontario, and alongside work on a recording project for his own music, now teaches lessons in piano performance, theory, and composition.
Rian's rate is $29 per half hour lesson
