Dave has been teaching drums and guitar since 2004. He took 7 years of private lessons starting at age 12 and played in a variety of club and bar bands over 20 years. He also graduated from RAC College of Sound and Music Production and worked in music and foley (movie fx) studios in the Toronto area.

Dave specializes in modern rhythm section and lead playing, but can also teach classical and prepare students for RCM exams, or help those who just want to strum around the campfire!

Dave's rate is $27 per half hour lesson

Troy is a born and raised Cobourgian who got his first drum set at fifteen years old. After making a stop at Mohawk College for three years (studying music of course), he has returned to share what he learned.Troy has been performing on acoustic/electric drums and hand percussion in various ensembles in Northumberland County ranging from rock, jazz, swing, country, and folk since 1996.

Troy was the Platinum Award winner for Best Music Instructor in the 2024 Northumberland News Readers' Choice Awards.

Troy's rate is $28 per half hour lesson

Payment for each month's lessons is due in the first week of the month. Lesson rates vary with the location, instrument and the teachers' education and experience. Though some are lower or higher, on average they are between $25 and $31 per half hour private lesson. Automatic withdrawals on the 5th of each month make payments easy.
