Formally trained at a leading performing arts college, he has toured internationally, released multiple solo albums, and taught students worldwide in guitar, bass, piano, drums, and more. Growing up in a family of musicians, including the Juno Award winning Canadian country trio The Mercey Brothers, Mike has dedicated his life to the art of music. He attended Humber College for percussion and is currently studying at the Berklee College of Music in Boston. Previously, he was the songwriter, lead guitarist and singer in The Sourkeys, who were featured on CBC Radio and toured North America. Mike teaches guitar, bass, and ukulele and is well versed in production, mixing and engineering. Mike is a very creative and patient instructor with 15 years of experience in music instruction. He teaches all abilities and styles of music! His rate is $29.00/half-hour private lesson.
