Guevara Al Ahmad is a dedicated violinist with over a decade of experience. She's a member of the Mississauga Symphony Youth Orchestra and studies in the Regional Strings Program. Guevara has played in many orchestras and competitions, both at school and elsewhere, enriching her musical skills and discipline. With a strong passion for music, she aims to become a mentor for young violinists. Her wealth of experience and dedication make her a valuable addition to music education, inspiring the next generation of violinists to succeed.
Her rate is $32 per half hour.

Lilia is an accomplished teacher with over 30 years of experience and has always been a passionate musician, playing the violin since she was 5 years old. She received her Diploma of Music from Lviv Lyudkevycha State Music College and her Bachelor's Degree of Music from Drohobych State Pedagogical University. Lilia has performed with different symphony orchestras in Ukraine and Canada. Currently, she prepares students for violin, piano, and theory RCM exams, accommodating individual students' needs and personal development.
Her rate is $32 per half hour.

Sümeyra's musical journey began at age 7 with piano, followed by violin at age 9. She has completed undergrad requirements in Violin Performance & Composition at York University, and continues to take advanced level courses (towards Master's level). Meanwhile, she has had the privilege of working closely with Mark Skazinetsky (associate concertmaster at TSO) for 4 years and continues to refine her craft under his mentorship. Currently, she is the principal second violinist in the York Symphony Orchestra and has performed with the UofT Philharmonic Orchestra, Philadelphia International Music Festival Orchestra, and several orchestras in Turkey and Bosnia. Since 2019, Sümeyra has passionately taught violin and viola, aiming to instill her love for music in her students. Her musical interests span Western classical, pop, Turkish classical, and Balkan.
Her rate is $33 per half hour.

Video Game Music Camp - Adam Pedzikiewicz

How do you experience a video game without picking up a controller? By playing the music! Considered by many to be the modern-day Classical Music, video game music provides expression and feeling to what are otherwise simple games. Aimed at musicians aged 10-18, this course will have players learning and arranging video game music for their own instruments, and learning what makes this type of music special.
Classes run twice a week from 10:30 am - 12:30 pm on Wednesdays and Fridays for four weeks. Please contact us for further details.
Music Theory Workshop - Lobat Nourdeh

Before you break the rules, first you must learn the rules! Our Music Theory Class will dig into the building blocks of musical structure and explore how we can understand what we hear.

Kids Global Drumming: Session 1 - Paul Ormandy

Drumming is global! Aimed at kids aged 10-14, this course will explore percussion beyond the drum kit, and give kids the opportunity to play new instruments, play with other drummers, and take part in one of the oldest forms of communication: hand drumming!
