The Sudbury Lesson Centre offers weekly private lessons for all ages and levels. Our price range varies between $27-29 per half hour lesson and offers a professional and lively environment to the public. Please call, email or text for more information about our teachers and lesson times. We are always happy to welcome new students looking to learn another instrument or even for beginners starting a new musical journey of their own.

Davey Lahteenmaa brings with him 25 years of piano teaching experience. He earned both a BA, majoring in Music, and a BEd from Lakehead University and completed his ARCT in Piano Performance from the Royal Conservatory of Music. In addition to his private teaching, Davey spent several years as a classroom music teacher at The Priory School in Montreal. He loves creating his own music, and encourages his students to express themselves through their own compositions. Davey’s own works have been performed by the Thunder Bay Symphony Orchestra and at the New Music North Festival. Davey’s rate is $29 per 30 minute lesson.

Pierre understands that embarking on the journey of learning music can be both exciting and overwhelming - with nearly four decades of performance experience and 20 years of teaching, he has guided countless students through the joys and challenges of music. A graduate of Cambrian College with an ARCT certification, a former member of the Sudbury Symphony, and an accomplished film music composer, Pierre can prepare you for Conservatory exams (including theory and history) or tailor lessons towards your specific goals. He believes learning music not only deepens one’s understanding of the world but also fosters self-expression, builds confidence, and nurtures a lifelong passion. Pierre's rate is $28 per 30 minute lesson.

Robert has been performing and teaching piano since 2009. He has a diploma in Music Performance from Cambrian College, and a Bachelor of Music, with a major in composition from Memorial University. He has a strong background in musical theory and classical compositions/performance, but plays and teaches many styles. Video game and film music have been a great interest for him and his students. There's also a strong emphasis on performance psychology, which often improves everyday work, performance, and focus. Lessons available en anglais et en francais. His rate is $28/30 min lesson.
