Daniel Diaz (Saxophone, Clarinet)

Daniel Diaz discovered his passion for music at Antoine-de-Saint-Exupéry secondary school, where he started out on the euphonium. Curious and versatile, he explored several wind instruments before specialising in jazz saxophone at Saint-Laurent CEGEP.

Today, Daniel is an active and committed musician. He directs the Big Band of the Orchestre Harmonie Leonardo da Vinci (OHLDV) and plays in a number of renowned ensembles, including the Grand Ensemble Jazz de Saint-Eustache and the Université de Montréal Big Band. He is currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in jazz performance at the Université de Montréal.

Jadli Verilli (Drums)

It was during a Brazilian percussion workshop that Jadli discovered a huge passion for rhythm in all its forms. Music became a more serious part of her life when she started private drumming lessons and extracurricular activities. As a teenager, Jadli was a finalist in the national Canada Roland V-Drums Contest, won the Emerging Talent Award at the Festival international des percussions de Longueuil, took 2nd place in her category at the provincial V-Drums contest, and was a finalist in the international Hit Like A Girl drum competition. Jadli is continuing her studies in vocational music and song techniques, where she obtained her DEC. She has had the chance to deepen her knowledge of world rhythms, jazz, and popular music. During her studies, we saw her perform on Belle et Bum with her sidekick in the Le Rythme Dans le Sang competition. Jadli also has a DEC in Leisure Management and Intervention Techniques to further her artistic background. For over 2 years now, Jadli has enjoyed sharing her passion for teaching music with students of all ages!

Julien Rambier (Guitar, Bass Guitar)

Julien's passion for music began when he was very young, playing the piano on his father's knee. A few years later, for his 7th birthday, he was given his very first guitar, and since then the passion has never left him. Following private lessons and his first shows at the age of 8, Julien decided to pursue his academic career in music at his secondary school and later in jazz-pop guitar at the Cégep de Lanaudière in Joliette. With a wide range of inspirations, from the jazz fusion of Allan Holdsworth, to the dream pop of Montreal band Men I Trust, to the complexity of extreme metal pioneers Meshuggah, he was automatically led to contribute to bands and projects as varied as those that inspired him.

Julien is a great believer in regular practice of both technique and theory to achieve total freedom of expression with his instrument. A little patience, a little determination and a lot of passion will lead you throughout your life to the pleasure and love of music.

Léa Paradis (Voice)

Passionate about music and singing, Léa is a second-year student in the Techniques professionnelles de musique et chanson—Interprétation en musique populaire program, at Collège Lionel-Groulx. She began private singing lessons at the age of 5 and has been taking them ever since. She studied musical theater for 2 years and has six musicals to her credit, including two lead roles. Today, she loves to share her knowledge and help her students develop their vocal technique.

Pier-Alexandre Harvey (Guitar, Bass Guitar, Ukulele)

Pier-Alexandre picked up his first guitar at the age of 10. He developed a keen interest in music, but it wasn't until he was at secondary school that he plunged headfirst into the world of music. He discovered a passion for all things musical, trying out a number of instruments including piano, bass and drums before deciding to concentrate on the guitar. His influences began with rock and punk and later extended to blues and funk. It was at this point that he formed Métropole, his alternative rock band in which he sings and plays bass, and which is still active today. The band warmed up audiences for established French-language rock artists such as Groovy Aardvark, Mudie and Galaxie.

He later earned a DEC in jazz interpretation at Cégep de Saint-Laurent, where he discovered his passion for jazz and fusion. He is currently working on a variety of musical projects, including the semi-finals of the Festival International de la Chanson de Granby competition. He is currently studying Jazz and World Music at the Université de Montréal's Faculty of Music.

Roxanne Hébert (Piano, Pre-School)

Roxanne is passionate about music. A pianist for 10 years, she began her musical studies as a student of Bobby Cyr. She took private piano lessons with him for 9 years. She continued her studies at Paul-Arseneau High School, where she honed her musical skills. There, she had the chance to discover the trumpet, another instrument she now masters.

In 2022, Roxanne took on a new challenge: teaching music. She found a new passion in this discipline. Now a piano and early music teacher for 2 years, she teaches pupils of all ages. She speaks perfect English and is always ready to listen to her pupils.

Simon Brosseau (Guitar, Bass Guitar, Ukulele)

Simon Brosseau is a versatile multi-instrumentalist with 35 years of teaching experience. He grew up in a varied musical universe where all styles, from jazz to classical music, were appreciated. Almost everyone in the family plays an instrument! He started teaching music at the age of 18 and soon after began performing and touring while continuing to teach drums, guitar, bass, ukulele and piano. He has accompanied hundreds of students on their musical journey and will be delighted to share his passion with you.

Steve Foisy (Drums)

Steve Foisy is a passionate drummer and musician. After studying music at Cégep de Drummondville, where he earned a D.E.C. in music, he went on to earn a BAC in drumming at Université de Sherbrooke. Today, he is a high school music teacher, where he has the opportunity to pass on his passion and experience to his students. With 30 years' experience teaching drums, he has accompanied many students on their musical journey. At the same time, he continues to evolve on the music scene, as a member of Illusion Floyd, a tribute band to the legendary Pink Floyd.”
