Hi! I'm Rosey the Lessons Coordinator, nice to meet you! As part of my duties here at the North Store, I'm in charge of signing students up for lessons, managing everyone's schedules, and putting on the Winter and Spring Recitals offered for free for Lesson Centre students. Alexa's musical journey began at a young age—by four, she was already captivating audiences with her innate talent on the stage. Her origins were marked by a deep immersion in classical music, studying the violin and competing provincially.
Alexa began to focus more on songwriting, as she picked up the guitar at the age of 12. Throughout her youth, Alexa honed her songwriting and vocal skills, developing a distinctive style that draws inspiration from a myriad of genres.
At MacEwan University, Alexa completed a Bachelor of Music in 2022. In the same year she began releasing original music under her performing name ‘Lexene”. Her recordings, showcase a fusion of influences ranging from Bill Withers to Amy Winehouse.
While Alexa's roots are firmly planted in performance and composition, her journey has taken an exciting turn toward education where she shares her wealth of practical and theoretical knowledge with her students.
Her rate is $30 per half hour lesson.

Nicole Klippenstein has been singing since the age of 4 and playing piano since age 6. She grew up singing in church, choir and music festivals. She holds a Bachelor of Music and Performer’s Certificate in Voice from The King’s University. She has also completed the 10-Day Intensive Opera Program through NUOVA Vocal Arts (formerly Opera NUOVA). She has sung with ensembles like Alberta Youth Choir and the Edmonton Opera Chorus. Nicole believes that music is a great means of inspiration and allows people to express themselves in a way that other fields cannot. She has students of all ages and believes that technique and emotion should be intertwined to create a great piece.
Nicole's rate is $29 per half hour.
