Caeleigh Warke - Violin music lessons in Edmonton North

Caeleigh Warke (Violin)

Caeleigh Warke has been playing violin for 9 years and has studied with Lauren Tyrell and Leanne Maitland. Caeleigh also plays piano and has sung with the Edmonton Youth Choir for 11 years. Caeleigh is currently in her second year of the Photographic Technology program at NAIT. In her spare time, she enjoys baking and being active.
Rate: $23 per half hour

Erik Hamilton (Guitar, Bass, Ukulele)

Erik is a pop, rock and jazz guitarist from Edmonton, Alberta. He has a music diploma with Performance Major from MacEwan University (2015) and has studied with accomplished guitarists Jim Head, Mo Lefever and Jamie Philp. Erik currently plays guitar and bass studio projects and live performances, and has done shows in a variety of venues across western Canada. He is also a song writer and composer.

Ethan earned a Bachelor of Music degree with a major in performance from MacEwan University in 2016. While at MacEwan, he had the opportunity to focus on jazz, blues, and rock guitar styles while studying extensively under Juno Award nominated guitarist Jim Head. Ethan is active in the local music scene, performing regularly with High Tides, O’Neill Quintet, the Ethan Tonack Trio, and more. In his travels he has performed across Western Canada at Winnipeg’s Festival du Voyageur, Regina’s Artful Dodger, Calgary’s Vern’s Tavern, and numerous other venues.

Jerry has his Bachelor of Music and has taught band in a high school setting for over 15 years. Jerry has had a love of teaching for many years and wants to continue passing on his knowledge at Long & McQuade. Primarily Jerry plays violin, clarinet and saxophone but he is capable of instructing on any band instrument up to a level 2 proficiency.

Joel Cain holds a music diploma from Prairie College (studying under JUNO award winner Brian Doerksen) and a music production diploma from The Academy of Production & Recording Arts. Joel has been teaching private and group lessons for a variety of instruments since 2012. Joel is a skilled musician who is proficient on many instruments in a wide variety of genres. He has also studied jazz improvisation, musicianship, songwriting, and music production through Berklee College of Music. $24 per half hour.

Leonard Patterson holds a Bachelor Of Music degree in Music Performance from MacEwan University and has studied drum set with Nick Fraser, John Riley, Brian Thurgood, Dan Skakun, and Terry O'Mahoney. Since moving to Edmonton in 2009, Leonard has been an active member of the local music scene, performing alongside some of Edmonton’s most highly reputed musicians including Tommy Banks and Kent Sangster. Leonard has kept a busy schedule of teaching throughout the last 8 years teaching one-on-one lessons, clinics to junior high and high schools bands, and guest lecturing at MacEwan University. When he's not busy educating others, Leonard's main focus over the last 7 years has been writing and performing his original compositions. In January of 2016, Leonard self-published an instructional book, The Jazz Drum Book, which is sold internationally and has received glowing reviews in Drums Etc. and Modern Drummer magazines. $24 per half hour.

Lydia has her Bachelor of Music degree from The King's University College as well as her Bachelor of Arts with Vocal Performance from Briercrest College and Seminary. She has performed in the Edmonton Opera Chorus since 2013 and enjoys it immensely! She has many years of teaching experience and looks forward to working in the studio along side her many talented co-workers.

Micah Hussell started playing saxophone at age 10, and started playing piano shortly after. He graduated from The King’s University College with a Bachelor of Music in saxophone performance. After finding his love for choral singing during university with The King's University College Concert and Chamber Choirs, he proceeded to sing with other choral ensembles including Edmonton Youth Choir, Alberta Youth Choir, Pro Coro Connect, and Chronos Vocal Ensemble. Micah is pursuing a Masters in Music in September 2016 at the University of Alberta.
