Malcolm has been drumming his whole life, performing all through his school years while studying under Bob Downey at Aquarius Music and later teaching out of Victoria.

After graduation, he continued working as a performer and studio musician in Vancouver at Mushroom Studios, Water Street Sound, Phoenix Studios as well as Blue Frog built over 25 albums to his credit.

He has toured with show bands through Reno and Las Vegas showcasing his various aptitude in blues, rock, fusion, cajun and jazz drumming. And has even performed in LA working with Brad Gillis from Night Ranger and Ozzie Osbourne.

He now calls Vancouver Island home again and when he isn’t teaching he currently works with the Paul Black Trio performing all over the south island.

Tim Lorimer (Bass Guitar, Drums, Guitar, Ukulele)

Tim began playing drums at age 14, taking lessons with Dave Pady in Nanaimo. From there he started playing in various groups, including the high school band, church music team, and multiple rock bands. Tim also plays guitar, and honed his craft under the guidance of Murray Atkinson of The Odds. Tim has spent the better part of the last decade singing and playing guitar in the rock band Kevin's Bacon and his metal band A Season In Sidewinder.
