Ella has been teaching piano in the South Surrey / White Rock area for over 25 years. She has her A.R.C.T. in Piano Teaching from the Royal Conservatory of Music, as well as a BA from UBC and is a member of the British Columbia Registered Music Teachers Association. She is an RCM Certified Specialist in Elementary, Intermediate, and Advanced Piano, in Elementary and Intermediate Theory, and in Advanced Music History and Harmony. She specializes in teaching Classical music and exam preparation but also enjoys teaching those students who want to learn for their own enjoyment.
Her rate is $33 per half hour lesson.

Jullin specializes in advanced piano and vocal training but enjoys helping students at any level achieve their goals. She has over 30 years experience in teaching and performance and worked in nearly every music genre. Vocal Performance studies began at Lakehead University, continued with Robert Turner of Portsmouth, Virginia then followed by lessons with Dr. Shirley Zielinski at Belmont University in Nashville, Tennessee. She studied Jazz and Classical Piano and has a Diploma from Western Ontario Conservatory of Music in Piano Teaching. She is past Executive Director of the Richmond Music Festival; Vancouver Kiwanis Music Festivals and past GM of the Vancouver Youth Symphony Orchestra. Her rate is $33 per half hour.

With over 30 years of performance experience and a deep-rooted passion for music, Maria is a seasoned music teacher dedicated to nurturing and developing musical talent. Self-taught and mentored by industry experts, Maria has composed over 100 original songs and secured first place in a prestigious singing contest. Her teaching philosophy focuses on playing from the heart, building on individual strengths, and creating a collaborative learning experience tailored to each student's unique style. Maria’s extensive volunteer work in elementary schools, churches, and fundraisers underscores her compassionate approach to music education. All ages welcome.
She teaches a variety of genres, including Pop, Musicals, Rock, Alternative, Motown, Country, Opera, and more.
Maria's rate is $32 per half hour.
Our Group Lessons:
Wanting to experience playing in a group under the skilled guidance of an experienced instructor? Returning this summer is our week-long Rock School run by instructor Jason Ritchie! Collaborate with other like-minded musicians to play favourite rock songs, plus with an added performance for family and friends at the end of the week.
Students are recommended to have previous experience with their instrument, or around 1-2yrs of lessons. They should be comfortable with their instrument, enough to be able to learn and perform within the week.
COST: $300 Per Student

Experience playing as part of a band building rhythm, volume control, and confidence in improv. Doing head arrangements based on the Real Book charts. All inclusive and group improvisation. Ideal for students interested in brushing up their own skills and bringing them to the next level.
Students are to have their own/rented instrument. Having a copy of the Real Book is recommended but not required. Students are also recommended to have prior experience and are comfortable with their instrument.
COST: $240 Per Student [6 sessions total]
