From jazz to jugband, mariachi to metal, Andrew Somerville has performed, studied and taught music in Canada, The U. S. and México. Mr. Somerville studied guitar and bass at Toronto's Humber College, Detroit's Wayne State University and privately in Detroit, Toronto and Mexico City. Andrew’s goal-oriented approach focuses on the student’s abilities and musical tastes. He is equally comfortable teaching beginners of all ages up to the most advanced students of theory and technique. "The way to motivate a student is to give them the means to create the music they love and to show them how to make practice both fun and rewarding." Andrew's rate is $28.00/half-hour private lesson.

Donald is a multi-instrumentalist, composer, and producer with 20+ years of performance and teaching experience. Formally trained at a leading performing arts college, he has toured internationally, released multiple solo albums, and taught students worldwide in guitar, bass, piano, drums, and more. His rate is $29.00/half-hour private lesson.

Ryan Hollenbeck is an accomplished guitarist and musician of over 15 years. He holds a Diploma in Music Industry Arts and a Graduate Certificate in Audio-Post Production from Fanshawe College. Ryan’s understanding and knowledge of the music industry as a whole allows him to help his students in more avenues than just learning the guitar. He is a resource for students who wish to engage in the live performance and recording realms. Ryan has many years of experience as a guitar teacher and prides himself in not only teaching his students the guitar, but helping to inspire a life-long passion for music. His rate is $28.00/half-hour private lesson.
Our Group Lessons:
We are hosting two "Rock Skool" groups this coming year, run by our fantastic teacher, Siddharth. The classes will run Thursday evenings from January 8th to May 28th. The first group will be at 4:30-5:30pm each week and is for kids aged 8-12. The second group will be at 5:30-6:30pm each week, and is for teens aged 13-17.
Students should have a basic understanding of the instrument they will be playing in the group.
The classes are $25 per week, billed at the start of the month.
Both Rock Skool groups will have an opportunity to perform at the end of the session!
