Aaron Dimoff has been singing professionally on operatic stages across the country for the last decade. After receiving his Masters in Vocal Performance degree from UWO, he worked as a resident artist for the Calgary Opera company, performing and training with singers, conductors, and directors from around the world. Aaron has since performed on Canada's biggest stages, from the Edmonton Opera company to the Canadian Opera Company in Toronto. An avid teacher when not performing, Aaron enjoys passing on his experience to everyone from absolute beginners, to musicians pursuing a professional career. His rate is $30/half-hour private lesson.

Angela is a recent graduate from UWO with a Masters of Music in Performance and Literature and holds a Bachelor of Music Honours from the University of Saskatchewan. She is a classically trained vocalist and is currently a freelancing opera singer and a voice/piano teacher. Angela has been involved in music since she was 6 years old, from playing the piano to singing Celine Dion, AC/DC, operatic repertoire and more! She is well versed in teaching all musical styles and strives to create a learning environment that is inclusive for all types of learners. Danial is a composer and pianist with over ten years of experience teaching piano, theory, composition, electronic music, and ear training in both private and academic settings. He holds a Master’s degree in Music Composition from Western University and a Bachelor’s in Piano Performance from Iran. His student-focused approach supports each learner’s musical interests—whether classical, popular, jazz, or experimental—and encourages creative exploration. Kayla Whipple has been playing piano and composing since the age of 9. She continued studying piano through her post-secondary education and received her honours Bachelor's degree at Brock University in 2018. While at university, she was able to take classes in theory, composition, and piano pedagogy, alongside participating in many recitals and performance opportunities. Kayla recently won an Ontario-wide composition contest, and is preparing for her ARCT piano exam through the Royal Conservatory of Music. She is passionate about teaching, and enjoys applying unique strategies to help students explore their creativity in a fun and exciting way. Kayla's rate is $30/half hour private lesson.

Kim has sung in a wide range of musical styles, from folk to classical. Having studied voice at the undergraduate and graduate level, she earned her Master of Music degree in Choral Conducting from the University of Alberta. As a Director, her choirs have been invited to perform as part of the Kitchener Waterloo Symphony Orchestra’s Pop Series, at Queen’s Park in Toronto and Parliament Hill in Ottawa. As a singer, Kim has performed with the Manitoba Opera Chorus and Waterloo’s prestigious Da Capo Choir as well as numerous church and university choirs. Kim has extensive experience working with beginner as well as seasoned musicians of all ages and abilities. She focuses on meeting students at their level and fostering a joy in making music. Neda is a guitarist, pianist, and composer currently completing her PhD in Music Composition at Western University. She began her musical journey at a young age with her father, a cellist who was also her first music teacher. Neda is also an award-winning composer whose work has received international recognition.
Neda teaches piano, classical and electric guitar, composition, and music theory to students of all ages and levels. She enjoys working across many styles including classical, jazz, pop, rock, and metal. Her lessons focus on each student’s musical interests while building strong technique and musicianship- whether a student is pursuing music seriously or simply playing for the joy of it. Having taught university-level violin for seven years, she is currently pursuing a PhD in Music Education at Western University. She adapts her teaching methods to suit different personalities and interests, enabling students of all ages to embrace and nurture their individual strengths. Welcome to "Go With the Flow", a monthly improv jam geared towards people who are comfortable with their instrument, but not sure how to get started on improv, writing, or playing music with others.
Open the creative floodgates with this class!
The class takes place on the last Wednesday of every month, and the sign-up deadline is the Monday before.
It's $25 per person, bring your own instrument (pianos and drums supplied if needed)
