Clovis has developed his skills through multiple projects ranging in style from classical to hard rock/metal to jazz. He is passionate about the guitar, but loves to experiment with different instruments such as the bass, banjo, and even lap steel. He loves to pass on his knowledge and share his passion with his students in a dynamic way.

I trained at Cégep de Drummondville, where I obtained a DEC (Diplôme d'Études Collégiales) in Music. This laid a solid foundation for my musical skills and my understanding of electric bass. I went on to pursue my musical passion at the Université de Sherbrooke, where I obtained a Bachelor of Music degree with a specialization in electric bass. This university experience enabled me to deepen my knowledge, explore new musical horizons and perfect my skills as a my skills as an electric bassist. My academic background in music has given me the technical and artistic skills necessary to excel in this demanding field. I acquired a solid understanding of music theory, a mastery of different musical styles and the ability to express myself creatively through the electric bass. These two institutions have played an essential role in my development as a professional musician.
