André is an Honours graduate of the Applied Music program at Mohawk College. He has a strong theory background and enjoys teaching students of all ages. He performs regularly in area bands and arranges music for big band, small ensembles and string groups.
André’s rate is $30 per half hour lesson.

Elizabeth has completed her Grade 10 RCM in Voice, as well as studied at Capilano University, York University and Berklee College of Music.
She specializes in Music Theatre, Opera, Pop, Rock and R&B.
Her rate is $29 per half hour lesson.

Irina graduated from the Saratov State Pedagogical University with an Honours degree specializing in music for Elementary and Preschool as well as a Music Education diploma from Volgograd State Pedagogical College.
She has held many positions in the field of music education since 1995. She specializes in classical, but can perform and teach in every style. Most of all - she loves to create. Sharing her passion for music and shaping the lives of aspiring artists will always be her greatest achievement.
Her rate is $29 per half hour lesson.

Marie has her Grade 10 RCM in voice, and has been songwriting, performing and recording for over 15 years, and has been teaching for the past 8 years. Marie works with students interested in performing (and writing) in popular styles, as well as those preparing classical repertoire for RCM exams or auditions. She studied piano and voice at Nipissing University and Prairie College.
Her rate is $27 per half hour lesson.

Nancy Olfert is an accomplished musician and music educator. For over 40 years she has been teaching piano, theory, and voice as well as performing professionally as an accompanist, singer, and choral conductor. She holds an ARCT in piano performance, an RCM Grade 10 in voice, a Bachelor of Education with music qualifications for Primary, Junior, Intermediate, and Senior levels. Nancy recently retired from full-time vocal music teaching in the classroom and is returning to her first love – teaching private lessons.
Her rate is $28 per half hour lesson.

Shealagh is a singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist based out of Hamilton. She holds an Honours Bachelor of Music in Voice from Humber College, and has her Grade 8 RCM in both Voice and Piano. She has been teaching vocals professionally for over 9 years and continues to be inspired by her students’ growth and motivation in their musical journeys. Shealagh enjoys teaching a variety of genres, specializing in popular music, jazz, musical theatre, classical (RCM prep), and folk.
Her rate is $28 per half hour lesson.

The Bumblebee Orchestra is an educational ensemble that provides instruction to string players
that are reading and playing at the Grade 2 Suzuki or RCM Level. Students must be able to read music at a beginner level. For ages 7 - 14. From 5:00-6:30pm.
GARDEN CITY ORCHESTRA

Garden City Orchestra was founded by Rosemary Hale in 2015 and plays pieces from the great composers of both past and present. Members must play at a Suzuki/RCM grade 3 level. Rehearsals are Thursdays evenings from 7:00pm - 9:00pm.
Lakeside Wind Ensemble is a community brass and woodwind group that plays a variety of music, run by Lizuarte De Sousa. We accept flutes, clarinets, oboe, alto, tenor & baritone saxophones; trumpets, trombones, French horns, baritones, euphoniums, and tubas with at least 2+ years experience. The season runs from September through June. Rehearsals are Tuesday nights from 7-9 PM.
