Jane is a graduate with an Honours Bachelor of Science and postgraduate degrees from the University of Toronto, allowing her to provide counseling to many individuals. She has an ARCT in performance and has taught both RCM and Suzuki methods to students. She also played first violin in several orchestras and performs regularly in many other groups that play at weddings, churches, etc. Jane helps students build on their strengths and foster a love of music and creativity.
Jane's rate is $32 per half hour lesson.

The Bumblebee Orchestra is an educational ensemble that provides instruction to string players
that are reading and playing at the Grade 2 Suzuki or RCM Level. Students must be able to read music at a beginner level. For ages 7 - 14. From 5:00-6:30pm.

Garden City Orchestra was founded by Rosemary Hale in 2015 and plays pieces from the great composers of both past and present. Members must play at a Suzuki/RCM grade 3 level. Rehearsals are Thursdays evenings from 7:00pm - 9:00pm.
Lakeside Wind Ensemble is a community brass and woodwind group that plays a variety of music, run by Lizuarte De Sousa. We accept flutes, clarinets, oboe, alto, tenor & baritone saxophones; trumpets, trombones, French horns, baritones, euphoniums, and tubas with at least 2+ years experience. The season runs from September through June. Rehearsals are Tuesday nights from 7-9 PM.
During this class, children ages 4 - 6 are introduced to the basics of music. Run by our piano teacher Karen Kinchlea, Piano Adventures has children involved in a variety of activities, including keyboard playing, singing, and games. Each session runs for eight weeks for a total of four sessions throughout the school year. The classes are Saturday mornings 10:00am - 11:00am.
