Tom is a woodwind multi-instrumentalist with over 20 years of performing and teaching experience. He has a diverse musical history, beginning with concert, marching, and jazz music before gravitating towards funk, ska, soul, R&B, hip-hip, prog rock, and electronic music. He is an alumnus of MacEwan University, where he studied both jazz performance and music technology. He then traveled to Victoria, BC and performed with several musical groups, at venues ranging from clubs and festivals to weddings and art galleries.
Tom is still an avid student, with a passion for music that keeps him learning. His approach to teaching is immersive, finding each student’s passion and being a guide for them to develop their skills along the way.
Tom offers Saxophone (Alto, Tenor and Baritone), Clarinet and Flute lessons at our Red Deer location.
His rate is $30 per half-hour lesson.
