Primarily a guitarist, Showdra performs regularly in Southern Ontario as a soloist, bandleader, and sideman in projects ranging from jazz combos, musicals, rock bands, chamber music, and his own singer-songwriter material. As an alumnus of Wilfrid Laurier University, Showdra has had many opportunities to explore a multitude of musical styles. Over the last 50 years Chris has played in numerous musical settings, including radio, television, concerts and clubs, recording and church worship conferences and services. During that time he has worked with musicians such as Bernie LaBarge, Bill Dillon, Kevin Rammessar, Dave Thompson, Mike Janzen and Mark McIntyre.

Piano Party is an introductory group class for children ages 4 and 5 based on the Bastien's Invitation To Music series. The class provides a positive first exposure to music lessons. The Bastien's Invitation to Music series uses gradual multi-key approach, guiding children from pre-staff notation to staff reading. Illustrations and activities that are fund and instructional enhance learning and heighten interest. Children are involved in a variety of activities including keyboard playing, singing and games.
