Following this, Matt founded the band The Nancy Ray-Guns, and they released two well received albums: All Those Years of Heart and Homestead. Matt then continued to develop his skills and took occasional lessons from Capilano Jazz College teacher Bill Coon. Also during this time, he began composing and designing audio for mobile games, including making music and sounds for 17 games with Vancouver and Ottawa based Magmic Games. Currently, Matt plays guitar for Robot Hive and has been focusing on his own album Moon Reflected in Water.
