APX Travel Size Acoustic Guitar

TEXT OF VIDEO:

Hi this is Dave with Yamaha Canada Music, here at the 2016 winter NAMM Show with Long & McQuade. We're introducing the new APX T2 with the exotic wood top, so we've got a figured mango wood veneer in three new finishes on our travel guitar. This is really cool because we've done this before with an exclusive model before with Long & McQuade, in the regular APX 500, so a couple of years that was a limited edition. Only available at Long & McQuade. It was really really popular for us, so now we've brought that to the new travel size APX. They're going to be arriving early in 2016. Please go to Long & McQuade and check them out.

Yamaha 50th Anniversary FG180 Acoustic Guitar

TEXT OF VIDEO:

Hi this is Dave with Yamaha Canada Music. I'm hear with Long & McQuade at the 2016 Winter NAMM Show in Anaheim, California. We're really really excited this year, because 2016 is the 50th anniversary of Yamaha Guitars. One of the ways we're celebrating that is with the 50th anniversary re-issue of the FG180. This is going back to where it all starts for us. Classic, iconic, Yamaha acoustic guitar. We've got the vintage logo. We've got the 50th anniversary tress rod cover, but everything else is generally as close to vintage spec as we can get it. Going to be a limited edition for 2016. One very cool thing that makes this different from the original Red Label FG180, so we're using our AR re-treatment on the top board. What we've done, is we've got a wood treatment process that let's us treat the wood in a way that's similar to the effect of time, so what you've actually got is a guitar that comes out of the box as a new guitar but it sounds like a vintage guitar that's been played for decades, and just sounds amazing.

TRBX 204 Active Bass

TEXT OF VIDEO:

Hi, this is Dave with Yamaha Canada music here at the 2016 winter NAMM show with Long & McQuade. We're introducing the new TRBX-204 basses. This is going to be our new entry-level active bass. The TRBX-174 has been really, really popular for us with the introduction in the new TRBX series. Now we're going to offer this new model. It's got a basswood body instead of mahogany on the 174, and we've also got an active pre-amp, so your controls here are going to be your volume, your pick-up balance, master bass and master treble. If you're looking for a high-quality, entry-active bass, we really hope that you'll check out TRBX-204 at Long & McQuade.
