These strings came stock on my Martin D-15M Burst acoustic guitar. I have used many different strings over the years on various acoustics. Elixer strings were my go to strings before trying these. But these strings sound better and keep sounding great after many long hours of play. To be fair however, I have not tried these strings on my other acoustic which is not a C.F. Martin guitar. That being said I have no intention to put any other string on my Martin. Give them a try.
