The Signature #4 Jim Root Terror Head is modeled after the Dirty Channel on the same amp that Jim Root plays in the studio and on the road: the Orange Rockerverb 100. This all-tube, 15-watt amp is capable of far more than high gain rock and metal though. With a full 3-band EQ players will find it easy to dial in everything from vintage rock, blues and beyond. The addition of a tube-driven FX loop allows the user to take the tone in any direction they want. Features single channel, all valve, high gain 4 stage preamp, valve FX loop, and comes with gig bag.

Specs:

Running this through a PPC212 is fun!!! Can't get enough of those distortions, but I just wish she was a dual. Have to get the Tiny, I guess. You can get decent clean but even better if you have the pedal, but then you don't get the awesome distortion of it if your performing. I have a MK2 but I just love running around with this thing.

This thing has some tight gain. Even with the gain down and volume up its sound is nice and clear. This will make my running around and practicing/gigging a lot easier (on my back). The Only thing I wish it had was a clean to distortion footswitch. Going to have to get a distortion pedal, but I enjoy its distortion so much. Still love it.

I bought this to run my Marshall 2x12. The range of sounds from crystal clean to smooth jazz to metal is great and kinda reminds me of the simplicity of a JCM 800. It would be awesome to have two channels but for the price this can't be beat. And super loud for even the 7 watts I had the neighbors complain.

I did a lot of research before i purchased this evil little lunchbox. The nicest gain I have heard in a long time. It is very easy to dial in a very tight and aggressive sound without fizz or need for scoop. With my Les Paul, I have finally achieved the sound I need for my favourite metal/grunge bands. Cleans up nicely with guitar volume but not like my other boutique amp. I am running this into a 2x12 cab and it is definitely loud enough for jamming and small giging. Impressed with 7 watt channel and how full the sound remains at the lowest of volumes. Excellent choice if you are looking for a high gain head under $1000.

I bought this mostly because I use the Rockerverb 50 and wanted a the same gain channel for recording in a smaller home studio setting. This thing cranks hard though its definitely a go to amp for jamming and live but its bare bones like most Orange amps. You get an effects loop and responsive gain from country to death/black metal, but loaded with features its not so keep that in mind.

Tried this and the dark terror. Both great sounding amps but no clean channel unless you roll back your guitar volume and in my present set up I can't do that. The distortion is killer and lots of different distorted tones. The eq works well and it's a great sounding amp.
