Buy Online

Squier is delighted to introduce its very first Telecaster pack, which puts the time-honored tone, look and vibe of the world's first great solid-body electric guitar in a value-filled pack that also includes a punchy 15-watt Fender Frontman 15G amp to plug it into and all the accessories you need, including an electronic tuner, instructional DVD, gig bag, cable, strap and picks.

Squier Affinity Telecaster is available in Butterscotch Blonde with single-ply black pickguard and Brown Sunburst with a three-ply black/white/black pickguard, and features two singing single-coil pickups, rock-solid bolt-on maple neck and a sharp new gold-and-black Squier headstock logo. Fender Frontman 15G amp features dual channels ("normal" and "drive"), adjustable gain control that rocks guitar tones from tube-emulated overdrive to full-strength ultra-saturated distortion (perfect for blues, metal and the famous Fender clean tone), along with volume, treble and bass controls, 8" Special Design speaker, closed-back design for heavier bass response, auxiliary input and headphone jack, and classic black panel/skirted knob/silver grille cloth looks.

You get guitar, amp, accessories and instruction all at once, and more than ever it's everything you need to Stop Dreaming and Start Playing!

Bought this a year ago, and is still my fav (I have 2 other Teles). This one is Made In Indonesia (string through body, input jack, nut colour, + pickup height screws) and is different from the one Made In China (top loader :/ ), little things that do make a difference. The neck is what stands out for me (FAST/SMOOTH). Changed saddles right away (hence the 4.5 in quality) and will do the same with the pickups (decent as is though, why I'm taking my time doing it, haha). Making it into a Slide Guitar (nut height is high, a perfect candidate). Plan on getting another one, the sunburst one ;)

Always wondered what all the fuss was about regarding Teles. Now I know. Also, for those who don't know, the 'stand-alone' Affinity Tele and this one available in this starter pack are different. Differences on this model are: made in Indonesia vs China, string-thru body stringing, 22 frets, 'skunk stripe' on back of neck, a different nut colour (material? don't know) and a gold Squier emblem instead of black on headstock (if you look closely at pictures of the two, you can see this). Wanted a Butterscotch but my store didn't have one except for in a pack like this one, so purchased this and was pleasantly surprised upon learning afterward this is a supposedly better guitar. Great player too, awesome job Squier.

Bought this combo package today, and am pleasantly surprised. This deal is a no-brainer, for someone looking for an entry level complete package. You will not find a better all-in-one package deal. I also own a $1100.00 Telecaster and bought this package as a hack-around to save my "good Tele". This Squire will be my practice guitar. Playing both side by side, this Squire gives my "good" Tele a run for it's money. I'm impressed. Sure, the pickups are cheap, and not Texas Specials, and the bridge is noticeably cheaper. But it works. It plays VERY WELL. The strings are too thin for my liking. I will change them. The neck is straight. No fret buzz. Action is great right out of the box. Intonation is correct. Has 6 bridge adjustments for intonation, while my "good" Tele has 3 brass saddles. Let me say, I am impressed with how well this guitar plays. I recommend it as an entry level. The Fender Frontman 15G amp is basic. One clear channel and an overdrive setting that tries, but is underpowered compared to my Blackstar and Marshall amps. But HEY !! This is an entry level combo pack, and it's darned good right out of the box. I'm using it as a practice kick-around guitar that I won't be nervous about changing strings and maybe the pickups on at a later date. Yes, I am impressed with the quality at the price I got it for: $269. I played it in the L&M sound room, and within 1 minutes said, "Yup, I'm getting this". Glad I did.

Just picked this up on Kijiji for $100.00. 3 Months old and plastic still on the pick guard and tuners. Amp is worth play. Plays nice!

This pack direct from fender is $500 NOT COUNTING shipping and tax, so if you decide to buy it, buy it here. I'm a fan of tele style guitars, so I might get this pack so I can have an extra amp. (I prefer VOX but I hear fender amps are great for guitar and bass,)

Performance Warranty Banner

Protect your investment with the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty

A warranty can be a very important factor when making a buying decision. Because repairs can be very expensive in terms of parts and labour costs, manufacturers usually only provide one year limited warranties that generally only cover items that malfunction due to a manufacturer’s defect. With an important purchase such as a musical
instrument or piece of studio gear, however, many people want to have the peace of mind in knowing that their investment will be protected should the product no longer be performing at 100%.

Because of this, Long & McQuade provides our customers with a FREE one-year Performance Warranty on most of our products. The Long & McQuade Performance Warranty supplements the manufacturer’s warranty to ensure that our customers receive complete “no hassle” warranty coverage within their first year.

How does the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty differ from most manufacturers' warranties?
  • Performance Guarantee: Normal wear and tear is covered, so your product will be performing as well as the day you purchased it for the entire duration of the coverage. Band and Orchestral Performance Warranty does not include replacing pads or cleaning for woodwind instruments, unless deemed necessary by our repair staff. Ultrasonic cleaning for brass instruments will be provided if deemed necessary by our repair staff, but is not routinely offered under the Performance Warranty.
  • Product Replacement: If your product cannot be fixed or costs too much to fix, we will replace it with the equivalent model for no additional charge. If this is not possible, a full refund will be provided.
  • No Lemon Policy: Your product will be replaced should the same problem occur multiple times.
  • Convenient: Easy drop off and pick up of the product at any Long & McQuade location.
  • Guitar Setup: Guitars purchased at Long & McQuade come with 1 free setup, to be redeemed within 1 year for new guitars and 90 days for used guitars.
  • Loaners Available: A loaner product may be given while the product is being repaired.
  • Power Surge Protection: Your product is covered even if damaged from a power surge.
  • Accessory Coverage: Any peripheral devices or accessories that come with your product (i.e. foot pedal, case) are also covered.
  • Commercial Use Coverage: Music and recording professionals who purchase gear for “heavy-use” commercial purposes will still be covered.

Long & McQuade reserves the right to restrict the purchase of additional years of Performance Warranty. Used products come with a 3-month Long & McQuade Performance Warranty. Some products (i.e. computers, software, cymbals and other items) are covered only by the manufacturer‘s warranty. Consumables (i.e. strings, reeds, drum sticks, batteries, tubes, cross faders) are excluded as they are designed to be replaced. Cosmetic Damage, Accidental Damage, or problems caused by Humidity or Temperature Issues are not covered. Speakers damaged by overpowering are generally not covered. Our coverage does not provide compensation for loss of use. As of June 2018 the Performance Warranty is no longer transferable. The warranty is only valid in Canada.

Purchasing additional years of coverage

Some manufacturers provide warranties for longer than 1 year; however, these are usually limited warranties that do not provide the same coverage as the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty. Customers interested in more complete and convenient (but not necessarily longer) coverage are still able to purchase additional years of the Performance Warranty.

If you are interested in receiving this coverage for longer than one year, you have the option of purchasing additional years of the Performance Warranty. The pricing is as follows:

  • NEW products: 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. 4% for each additional year.
  • USED products: 4% of the current new selling price to increase the warranty from 3 months to 1 year. 4% for each additional year.
  • GUITARS: 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. 4% for each additional year. $45 maximum. An additional free setup is not included with additional purchased years of Performance Warranty.
  • BAND and ORCHESTRAL instruments: 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. 4% for each additional year.

Great Additions
