The Sabian 18" AAX Chick Corea Royalty Ride is a special Limited Edition ride based on the cymbal Roy Haynes used on Chick Corea's 1967 album, "Now He Sings, Now He Sobs". Following the recording of "Now He Sings, Now He Sobs", Roy Haynes gifted the ride cymbal he used in the sessions to Chick Corea. A treasured possession ever since, Chick allowed Sabian to examine it to produce this Limited Edition copy. Sabian's Master Product Specialist, Mark Love, has managed to capture the beauty and all the intricate sonic qualities of this cymbal that has made so many drummers since ask, "What was the ride cymbal that Roy Haynes used on that album?".
