Zen Go Synergy Core

4x8 BUS-POWERED USB-C AUDIO INTERFACE WITH ONBOARD REAL-TIME EFFECTS
The Zen Go Synergy Core is a portable desktop interface that allows self-recording artists to create from virtually anywhere with technology used by award-winning producers. The device's sound quality and processing capabilities are in a class of their own with Antelope Audio's renowned 64-bit AFC clocking technology and the powerful, effects-packed Synergy Core onboard platform.

• Bus-powered audio interface with USB-C connection for Mac/Windows;
• Two Discrete ultra-linear preamps with 65 dB gain and switchable mic, line and Hi-Z modes, offering console-grade performance & low noise when recording.
• Class-leading AD/DA conversion for the most detailed sound when recording and streaming audio, aided by 64-bit AFC clocking technology delivering increased sound width & separation.
• 37 Synergy Core analog-modeled effects included and over 50 available as optional expansions. Processed in real-time with imperceptible latency;
• User-friendly software control of all available features including onboard effects processing, direct monitoring, signal routing and volume settings.

Rise above the sound you know
The Zen Go Synergy Core shrinks the gap in sound quality between artists with access to premium studios and home creators. The pristine sound is due to a combination of professional-grade AD/DA converters and Discrete ultra-linear preamps that share circuits with legendary American & British consoles. The stand-out sonic quality of the device would not be possible without the main pillar of the Antelope Audio sound - the 64-bit AFC clocking technology from the company's high-end master clocks. It is employed in the most prestigious studios in the world and has been trusted with the scoring of some of Hollywood's biggest blockbusters.

Full production pack, from the get-go
Zen Go Synergy Core comes with 37 of the finest analog-modeled effects that will help you create stunning, sonically rich productions. Aside from the exclusive compressors, EQs and preamps, with the interface you get 22 guitar amps & cabs, a guitar tuner and a signature reverb that are ready to be applied in real time to your tracking and mixing session. The Synergy Core effects processing allows you to stack up your chain with many effects instances while monitoring through the interface without fear of overloading.
At any time, you can expand your effects collection by purchasing more classic go-to units, true rarities never before recreated in digital form, and 3rd party effects like Antares' Auto-Tune Synergy.

Create from anywhere, anytime
Antelope Audio's first bus-powered interface is optimized for ultra-low latency recording, high-resolution playback, creative beat making and podcasting from virtually anywhere. With just a USB-C cable you can power the Zen Go Synergy Core from your computer and use it to its full potential without having to carry a dedicated power supply with you. The interface can also be powered with any USB-C charger if you are away from your PC and still want to use its core functionalities.

Better recording and producing workflow
Every feature available to you in the interface's Control Panel has been added to improve the important aspects of your workflow. Since DAW monitoring inevitably adds latency, you can monitor directly through the interface to reduce delay to the absolute minimum. With the routing options you can easily set-up a near-zero latency mix and stack it with your favorite Synergy Core effects without fear of overloading the onboard platform. Dedicated signal metering is available for both input and output levels on the front panel display and in the software Control Panel.

Smart connectivity in a small package
The two combo XLR jacks give you the flexibility to choose between our custom Discrete mic preamps, line and Hi-Z inputs, and are easily configurable via the control panel. The two TRS balanced outputs, mirrored with the two RCAs, allow you to send the signal from the professional-grade D/A converter to two separate sound systems. Use one for your main monitors and the other for a DJ mixer or any other sound system with RCA connectivity, whilst preserving sound integrity.

Features
Conversion & Clocking
• Class-leading AD/DA conversion with up to 127dB of headroom;
• Recording, mixing and playback at up to 24-bit/192kHz;
• Proprietary 64-bit Acoustically Focused Clocking (AFC) technology & Jitter Management algorithm delivering increased width, separation, and detail in musical performances.

You want another opinion? Buy the Zen Go now! Why? First and foremost - say goodbye to latency! The effects library is solid, sounds brilliant and relieves you from having to do roundtrip monitoring through your cpu. Secondly, it's solidly built for mobility! Third, Antelope Audio is a solid company with lots of ways to expand your system for the future... Anyhow, I was nervous to spend the extra money on this compared to other less costly interfaces, but now it's an essential and vital tool for capturing my music. It's worth the extra dough! You won't be disappointed!

The Zen Go Synergy Core interface punches way above it's class with remarkable sound quality, excellent build quality and no nonsense operation. The software control is logical and easy to use. The quality of the Zen Go Synergy Core audio interface and it's included effects are easily on par with the UAD devices and effects that I have tried. It would be nice if you could audition Antelope Audio's plugins freely though as you can with UAD plugins. Overall this interface has the right balance of features, sound quality and practicality all at a decent price point. Bottom line, it does what you want a pro level interface to do all while staying out of the way and letting you work. Highly recommended.

Good audio interface that looks great and sound great. I find the UI of the software little bit slow to use and sometimes frustrating. I also kind of wish it was thunderbolt supported for access to the DSP via VST but other than that a solid interface especially for the price.

I picked this puppy up a couple of weeks ago. I needed to pick up an interface to record with my partner at home in the midst of our lockdown. I did not regret my decision! The quality from the conversion in this unit is on par with many pro studios. The preamps are good too! I love being able to record both a signal processed by the DSP plugins, and and an unprocessed signal simultaneously. This has made recording for other producers/engineers a breeze. You can allow them to work from either version of the source. I also love being able to route in and out of my daw to print/sum things through the soft mixer. I will say that the quality of the plugins are great too! I had the thing up and running (on a PC) with ease. The software was intuitive and we were able to record great sounding audio in our apartment!

Zen Tour (1st edition) user here, and loved that interface and the dynamic range for recordings with absolutely no noise floor and crisp vocals. I was hesitant to pick this one up thinking it might lack but I've been blown away so far, this little device packs a punch and probably is the best bang for buck usb powered interface. Works with my pc without a thunderbolt / usb c connection and this is a winner!

The look is awesome and clean. The audio quality is way too good for the price range, and it has dsp plugins that allow me to jam quick, or record without using cpu. Win - win. Keep it up Antelope Audio!

I recently purchased Zen Go after discovering it on a blog and fell in love with the specs. Antelope gear has always been quite expensive but this brings it into the zone that I can afford. I had been using the UA Apollo Twin for the past 3 years but this blows it out of the water. The plugins are top-notch but for me, the killer was just not the sound but the mic modeling which is great for our voiceover business. All in all for the price point 5 stars.

I had been using UA Apollo Twin over the last 3 years but fell in love with Antelope specs for my voice-over business. Especially the Mic Emulations are boss as well as the plugins you can record and print in real-time. I even purchased the Edge Solo Mic to use for the emulations and they are dope. Lovin' it and I'm a happy camper.

Recently purchased this unit from the Burlington store. The audio is unmatched. Theres a clarity I haven't heard in a long while, and as close to solid board analogue as I've ever gotten with DI tones for guitar. Pros: • Price Point I haven't seen anything with this quality of features and more importantly sound that isn't nearly double. • Integrated DSP I bought this knowing I would also purchase PREs and EQs from Antelope to run in there DSP. Have tonal shaping ability before it hits the computer is huge and while not EXACTLY the same as having outboard gear. Dropping say $1000 for a swath of various Pres instead of say 1 Single channel, gives so much flexibility. Monitoring with near zero latency (none I could hear) is invaluable. • Size Before this current pandemic, I was traveling a lot, and see that being in the future as things clear up. This unit is perfect for it. Small, solid build quality, easy set up. No separate power supply needed. CONS: • What makes this thing great feature wise... is also problematic for my older MBP. I'm running slightly above Antelopes minimum specs and have annoying issues...currently being addressed by the staff at Antelope. These include: • Having to unplug and reconnect device in order for it to properly see the unit • Buggy Control Panel settings that require work arounds I found by just tinkering. As this is a problem in progress, I'm still giving Antelope the chance to offer a fix or easier work around. Hopefully as simple as me downgrading the firmware of the unit. I'm also painfully aware my MBP is 9 years old...and in this day and age, is ancient. For a brand new interface to be expected to work flawlessly, is a little high bar, though I think these issues shouldn't be there. But I'm not a coder/programer...so we'll see. All in all... great unit for the price and tonality...even with my issues.

The Zen Go rocks and easily performs as good or better than many interfaces at higher prices. Outside of the number of mic inputs, you just can't beat this interface. I've owned quite a few different interfaces over the past 10 years and this is on another level. Not all perfect - if it had Thunderbolt instead of USB C it would be an Apollo Twin killer because you could use the mic pre models and other plugins the same way you can on UA gear, but instead, you can only use the DSP run plugins as inserts for audio being recorded. That is my one and only detraction on this unit, and really it isn't that big of a deal - just a 'nice to have' if it could be had. Otherwise, the dynamic range, the quality of the converters and the ability to add mic pre, compression and more modelling to recorded audio is fantastic. Having S/PDIF so I can run my Kemper Profiler in digitally is why I bought this interface - having all the rest makes me realize what I've been missing on other interfaces.

This Interface might look small but is a monster, after doing a research about Audio interface and came across this little machine right here i was amazed by the Quality and sound that you'll be getting from this thing right here, this Interface have the best A/D and D/A Converter plus if you're looking for the latest technology in Audio Interface it's right here the Dynamic Range is a game changer, gives you a whooping 127db range Dspx2 and the new FPGAx1 chip, this is the new Bentley you just have to get it for the price it's a steal. Antelope is the way.

Performance Warranty Banner

Protect your investment with the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty

A warranty can be a very important factor when making a buying decision. Because repairs can be very expensive in terms of parts and labour costs, manufacturers usually only provide one year limited warranties that generally only cover items that malfunction due to a manufacturer’s defect. With an important purchase such as a musical
instrument or piece of studio gear, however, many people want to have the peace of mind in knowing that their investment will be protected should the product no longer be performing at 100%.

Because of this, Long & McQuade provides our customers with a FREE one-year Performance Warranty on most of our products. The Long & McQuade Performance Warranty supplements the manufacturer’s warranty to ensure that our customers receive complete “no hassle” warranty coverage within their first year.

How does the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty differ from most manufacturers' warranties?
  • Performance Guarantee: Normal wear and tear is covered, so your product will be performing as well as the day you purchased it for the entire duration of the coverage. Band and Orchestral Performance Warranty does not include replacing pads or cleaning for woodwind instruments, unless deemed necessary by our repair staff. Ultrasonic cleaning for brass instruments will be provided if deemed necessary by our repair staff, but is not routinely offered under the Performance Warranty.
  • Product Replacement: If your product cannot be fixed or costs too much to fix, we will replace it with the equivalent model for no additional charge. If this is not possible, a full refund will be provided.
  • No Lemon Policy: Your product will be replaced should the same problem occur multiple times.
  • Convenient: Easy drop off and pick up of the product at any Long & McQuade location.
  • Guitar Setup: Guitars purchased at Long & McQuade come with 1 free setup, to be redeemed within 1 year for new guitars and 90 days for used guitars.
  • Loaners Available: A loaner product may be given while the product is being repaired.
  • Power Surge Protection: Your product is covered even if damaged from a power surge.
  • Accessory Coverage: Any peripheral devices or accessories that come with your product (i.e. foot pedal, case) are also covered.
  • Commercial Use Coverage: Music and recording professionals who purchase gear for “heavy-use” commercial purposes will still be covered.

Long & McQuade reserves the right to restrict the purchase of additional years of Performance Warranty. Used products come with a 3-month Long & McQuade Performance Warranty. Some products (i.e. computers, software, cymbals and other items) are covered only by the manufacturer‘s warranty. Consumables (i.e. strings, reeds, woodwind pads, drum sticks, batteries, tubes, cross faders) are excluded as they are designed to be replaced. Cosmetic Damage, Accidental Damage, or problems caused by Humidity or Temperature Issues are not covered. Speakers damaged by overpowering are generally not covered. Our coverage does not provide compensation for loss of use. As of June 2018 the Performance Warranty is no longer transferable. The warranty is only valid in Canada.

Purchasing additional years of coverage

Some manufacturers provide warranties for longer than 1 year; however, these are usually limited warranties that do not provide the same coverage as the Long & McQuade Performance Warranty. Customers interested in more complete and convenient (but not necessarily longer) coverage are still able to purchase additional years of the Performance Warranty.

If you are interested in receiving this coverage for longer than one year, you have the option of purchasing additional years of the Performance Warranty. The pricing is as follows:

  • NEW products: 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. 4% for each additional year.
  • USED products: 4% of the current new selling price to increase the warranty from 3 months to 1 year. 4% for each additional year. Pricing for used electronic products is 4% of the original new selling price.
  • GUITARS: 4% of the current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years. 4% for each additional year. $45 maximum. An additional free setup is not included with additional purchased years of Performance Warranty.
  • BAND and ORCHESTRAL instruments: $40 flat rate up to $2,000 of current new selling price to double the warranty from 1 year to 2 years.
  • BRASS and STRINGS: 2% of the current new selling price above $2,000.
  • WOODWINDS: 4% of the current new selling price above $2,000.
