Yesterday I bought a foot rest, a Fender guitar and a Yorkville YAC-6H hard case for $115. The case was unpacked at the store and the guitar was put in there. The Dreadnought entered it as if it were his own home! Although the case was heavy, I was pleased: no foam underneath, nice long gray plush, good, clean work inside and out! 5 layers of laminate! Durable and beautiful! But heavy! At home I accidentally stumbled upon review Lloyd Bunbury! I thought that I also need insulation inside and branding on the outside! It's not every day that I buy decent guitars and cases for them! Walk, so walk! The next morning I handed over the purchased Yorkville and purchased a new one - Fender Flat-Top Dreadnought Acoustic Guitar Case, Model: # 099-6203-306; $179.99 CDN. The seller brought a case in a box, did not open it! I took it and took it - a year warranty! When I picked up the cardboard box, it seemed to me that it was empty! However, I felt something hard inside! At home, I found that inside is a carefully packed, very light hard case that looks flawless from all sides! Inside, around the body of the alleged guitar, there is an inch layer of foam! The bottom and lid also have a layer of foam that, when closed, presses the dreadnought! On the lid, the foam reaches half the neck, and after the small box, the space is already without foam! Although Flat-Top has large dimensions (length 6 cm, width 3-4 cm, thickness 3.5 cm) and a construction of 3 layers of wood, it is the second lighter than the previous one! 4 locks open amazingly smoothly and easily, and one has a turnkey slot! Everything is thought out and beautifully built! Flawless finish! Although I am hard to please, I was very satisfied here! I read my essay. I think it looks like an advertisement! But it's not! It's just very nice to get an eye-pleasing necessary thing! Made with dignity, quality, with love! By the way, the store staff (I dealt with two men) are super professional, competent, fast, polite and friendly!

I was looking for a hard shell case for my newly purchased Martin HD28 dreadnaught. I was considering the standard Yorkville YAC-6H at $115.00 when the sales guy mentioned this Fender case. The difference in material and construction quality was dramatic proving once again that you get what you pay for. The interior of this case has a lot of foam padding plus the plush material providing superb protection. If you really want a solid case that will protect your guitar and you have the extra coin I’d recommend this case for sure.
