Designed to help the teacher motivate while also providing a wonderful collection of Christmas favourites, In Recital with Christmas Favorites, Book One covers quarter, half, dotted half, and whole notes; uses only 3/4 and 4/4 time signatures; and reinforces basic musical terminology and symbols. Students experience movement up and down the keyboard with 8va signs. Most of the pieces call for only limited use of hands-together playing.
