So, you're a lefty. You want that one bass to cut through a mix. That has punch, some high end, as well as, thump, all for an amazing price. Look no further than the Squier vintage 70's modified jazz bass. This lefty model is a beast. It is weighty yes, but sustain for days. Simple modern s8nglr coil pick ups that a super loud, with a very nasty growl. I have one that plugs into a full Kustom stack. I'm not a fan of the paint job, but I didn't get it for looks, I got it for the quality and amazing versatility and strength in the tone. I AM buying another jazz bass, that one will be a Fender MIM jazz black and red tort pick guard. Thank you fender for your amazing instruments.

Don't let the Squier name fool you. This is one seriously killer instrument. The pickups are quite powerful, and with a great setup, gig-worthy, both in a show and in the studio. I have this baby. It's a lot prettier in person too, and the neck, body, tuning, intonation... a truly professional instrument. I know, you're eyeing that Standard version, and yeah, you wish you could have at least a lefty Squier P-bass. Don't worry. Get this one. You can get the growl, the punch and the thump. Load this baby up with anything from a set of Pro-Steels to Chromes (or Labellas, GHS, Rotosounds, etc) and it will sound killer. The neck might have a heavy lacquer, but, it doesn't get as sticky as other finishes for some reason. But those pickups... no need to swap out these bad boys. This thing stock is pretty solid.
