Buzzkill Extra Dry Muffling Gel Domes
The BuzzKill is Vater's latest advancement in drum and cymbal dampening technology. Unlike muffling-rings which have a tendency to fall off, or internal mufflers which rattle and squeak, the BuzzKill provides easily adjustable and solid muffling. This pack includes a set of 4 muffling gels which stick right to the head.
The Extra-dry is dome-shaped, and has more weight and mass than the original Buzz Kill, which makes it an ideal choice for larger drums. They're great for getting that funky, super-flat snare drum sound. The Extra Drys also have a tremendous effect on ride cymbals, greatly reducing wash and enabling excellent stick definition.

By putting these gel domes on my cymbals I was able to eliminate the unwanted ringing and nasty hiss I always pick up recording my drums. This saves me the hassle of having to cut all that out in the recording software. Once you stick em on they never fall off. It's also nice to have when you are playing beats that use lots of cymbals with fast response time. I noticed a huge difference like night and day when playing the song rust in peace. Who would have known a piece of jello can make me sound like a better drummer? Great product.
