Product ExperienceI own it

I have two workstations, MacOS and Windows, the former being the main one. The Cerwin Vega serves the MacPro setup. I have owned this mixer since 2017 and it has proven a very solid, reliable performer. It offers a variety of standard routing options, it works particularly well with Roland's incredible Octa-Capture interface and Yamaha's fantastic HS7's. What I really like about this mixer apart from it flexibiity in live performance situations (it is rock solid when working with smaller ensembles) is its neutral, crisp and clean tone, which is crucial when, for instance, working on multitrack projects involving acoustic instruments or on final mixes. But as I was recording for my label a solo violin album featuring an Edmonton artist of note, I realised how nicely the Cerwin Vega behaved projecting the instrument. This mixer is invaluable for small-sized professional and home studios. Worth every penny? Yes.
