I have used this stand with my DJ setup for years (two digital turntables/mixer in a road case). It's the correct height and securely supports my laptop. I put my travel drive underneath on the height adjustable shelf. The unit is solid and stays in place when setup. It folds up and fits nicely in a road bag. I've tried a few stands but this one is my favourite. The cost accurately reflects the quality.
