Nuvo's newest addition to their growing range of beginner instruments is the very cool "jSAX", enabling kids to develop sax skills while experiencing the joy of making music.

The Nuvo jSAX opens up the opportunity for kids to take up the sax at an early age. It follows traditional saxophone fingering patterns and enables kids to develop embouchure and tuning skills. It has a surprising mellow sound and is a lot of fun to play.

The jSAX is pitched in C like all other Nuvo instruments so it can play all WindStars music, also allowing teachers to utilize one piece of music for the entire class without any transposing required - perfect for primary and young learning.

The jSax has a fully chromatic range from middle C to G in the next octave. The standard kit includes molded case and carry strap.

Full disclosure, I did not start on this instrument. I had already been playing the sax for years when I got this as a gift. Within the first ten minutes of playing, I was laughing like a child. This is fun, plain and simple. It's fun to play, fun to look at, and fun to listen to. I would recommend this to anyone, those who have never even touched a saxophone, to the most experienced pros. This product is amazing.
