This is a very sturdy, well built case. It is on the heavy side but I have confidence that I will have no trouble flying with it. One thing that may influence your purchase of the black/wine case is that the colour is nothing like the photo on the website. In real life it is the most beautiful deep rich merlot colour - very appealing.
