Julia Doran
Julia is a graduate from Toronto Metropolitan University’s Creative Industries program in which she studied the music industry. She started piano and guitar lessons at a young age and later attended the University of Toronto playing French Horn. Julia understands the importance of music education and is excited to watch the students in our lesson centre grow into great musicians!

Dylan helps students of all ages and skill levels play their favorite music on trumpet, including video game music, pop songs and more, while building the foundation needed to succeed in school and beyond. Dylan is a Burlington Teen Tour Band alumnus, serving as section leader, soloist, and fanfare trumpet performer during his 5 years with the band. He is a graduate from Western University with a Bachelor of Music. When not teaching, he works as a brass clinician and video game composer. Dylan's rate for a half-hour private lesson is $27.00.

James DeGeer graduated with honours from Mohawk College's Contemporary Music Program. He actively works as a studio musician and performs around the GTA in many groups, playing a wide range of styles. James has been teaching since 2016 and likes to put emphasis on music theory, rhythm, technique and skills for playing with others. James specializes in Jazz fusion, Rock, Metal, Progressive Music, R&B and Brazilian. James's rate is $25 per half hour private lesson.

Mike Morabito is an award winning saxophonist and educator. Educated at both Mohawk
College and Humber College, he has obtained both an Advanced Diploma and Bachelor’s
Degree, both with honours, in Music Performance. Mike has performed all around Southern
Ontario with a large variety of groups spanning all musical genres such as, jazz, pop, rock,
salsa, funk and more. On top of his performing experience, he has been teaching actively for
many years. He is very comfortable teaching saxophone, flute, clarinet and theory across all
genres of music. Mike's rate for a half-hour private lessons is $26.00.
olivia brown (Piano, Bass)

Olivia Brown is a bassist, pianist and vocalist from Hamilton. In addition to completing her Grade 9 RCM in Piano, Olivia studied classical piano at the University of Toronto and graduated from Mohawk College's Applied Music program in Bass Performance. Her performance experience includes opening for Robben Ford, playing with the Hamilton All-Star Jazz band, and performing at the International Beatleweek Festival in Liverpool. Olivia is an encouraging and open-minded teacher who works with students of all ages, emphasizing ear-training and self-expression. Her rate is $25.00/half-hour private lesson.

Pete is a guitarist,teacher, composer and session musician based out of Hamilton. Pete is a graduate of the Mohawk Advanced Music Program. Pete has experience playing and performing all genres from jazz , country, metal, rock, blues, pop and funk. His rate is $25.00/half-hour private lesson.

A 5-Day summer camp intensive that gives students the opportunity to learn how to work together and play as a band! During this week, the group will choose a band name and learn songs culminating in a performance at the end of the week for friends and family!

• Does not have to be a Lesson Centre student, but must have at least one year's experience playing their instrument
