Jodi Boese

A life long fan of music Jodi has been singing since she was old enough to talk. She spent her grade school years in the school orchestra and was always very enthusiastic to be a third Clarinet. She dabbled in Bass Guitar and Piano, but it wasn’t until four years ago when she found her true love, the Ukulele. Jodi currently sings and plays Ukulele at random open mics and other events around the city, in addition she is not just the lesson co-coordinator but also a very dedicated Long & McQuade student.

Brody Smith - Guitar, Ukulele, Theory music lessons in St. Catharines

Brody Smith (Guitar, Ukulele, Theory)

Brody Smith is a classical guitarist as well as a theory and guitar teacher. Brody completed an Honours Bachelor of Music with a concentration in music education at Brock University in 2016 and a Bachelor of Education (Intermediate/Senior) from York University in 2018. Brody has studied guitar with Timothy Phelan, and has also performed in masterclass for William Kanengiser of the Los Angeles Guitar Quartet, Matthew McAllister, Shaun Pickup, and Rob MacDonald. His passions lie with teaching young musicians and studying music theory. Brody is knowledgeable in many styles of guitar including rock, pop, and classical music, and is a regular performer with both the Hamilton Guitar Orchestra and the Niagara Guitar Orchestra at the Guitar Extravaganza series in St. Catharines. Brody’s rate is $20/half hour private lesson.

Caleb Moroz - Guitar, Ukulele, Drums, Bass Guitar music lessons in St. Catharines

Caleb Moroz (Guitar, Ukulele, Drums, Bass Guitar)

Caleb Moroz is a multi-instrumentalist that has been teaching music lessons now for over 13 years. He graduated with honours from the Mohawk Music Program for Jazz Percussion and Composition. He currently plays in various music groups in Southern Ontario and gigs regularly. Caleb teaches drums, guitar, ukulele, and theory to students of any age or skill level. His rate is $21.00/half-hour private lesson.

Cooper Hannahson has played both standard drum set as well as auxiliary percussion at a professional level, gathering considerable experience and a strong reputation. Cooper is a graduate of Mohawk College's Applied Contemporary Music program in performance, and has toured with heavyweight Canadian funk staple My Son the Hurricane, as well as playing alongside Juno rapper nominee D-Sisive and acclaimed Canadian jazz pianist Adrean Farrugia. ​Cooper is currently residing in his hometown of St. Catharines. His rate per half-hour private lesson is $20.00.

Grace Snippe is a freelance musician and an enthusiastic cello instructor. Grace has been playing the cello since she was 7 years old and after many years of study, under Gordon Cleland, has received her Bachelor of Music degree with Honours from the Marilyn I. Walker School of Fine and Performing Arts (Brock University). She plays cello and sings for numerous musical groups and ensembles and is excited to share her cello-obsession with anyone in her vicinity. Grace's rate is $20.00/half-hour private lesson.

Jairo Meza - Brass, Piano music lessons in St. Catharines

Jairo Meza (Brass, Piano)

Jairo Meza received his B.A. in Music from Messiah College, a university in Pennsylvania, USA.
He graduated with honours and holds a dual minor in Education and TESOL. Jairo recently returned to Canada after living in Honduras for three years (his home country), working as a music teacher at elementary and high schools. Since his return he has played for the Thorold Reed Band and the Brock Wind Ensemble, playing his preferred instrument, the French horn. Jairo also plays the piano, guitar, and multiple brass instruments. Jairo's rate is $20/half-hour private lesson.

Jesse Luciani - Guitar (including Classical), Ukulele, Theory, music lessons in St. Catharines

Jesse Luciani (Guitar (including Classical), Ukulele, Theory,)

Jesse Luciani has been playing the guitar for over 20 years, and has been teaching at this location for over 10 years. His broad specialization covers electric, acoustic, and classical guitar instruction, as well as composition and theory. He has prepared students for their post-secondary studies, including the prestigious Berklee College of Music. His students have successfully completed Royal Conservatory examinations, with one receiving a Gold Medal. Jesse holds an Honour’s Diploma in Applied Music (Mohawk College), an Honour’s Bachelor of Music (Performance –Brock University). Jesse has performed with original metal bands as well as cover acts, including Stars of Pop and Angela Seeger’s Tribute to Janis Joplin. Jesse also performs professionally on the classical guitar, not only for private events and his academic recitals, but also including public concerts, such as his sold-out Guitar Hamilton Salon Concert in 2017. His rate per half-hour private lesson is $21.00.

Kyle Luciani - Voice, Saxophone music lessons in St. Catharines

Kyle Luciani has a B.A. Hon. in Music from Brock University. He has been singing and performing for over 15 years. He has played rock, pop, and many styles in between in a number of bands and groups. Kyle has also performed classical vocal music in recitals, choirs, and competitions. He has traveled professionally throughout Canada as a lead singer and keyboard player. Kyle also plays the saxophone as a community member of the Brock University Wind Ensemble. With experience performing various styles of music, Kyle is here to help students of all levels find their voice. His rate is $20.00/half-hour private lesson.

Marco Bressette - Guitar, Audio Engineering, Theory music lessons in St. Catharines

Marco Bressette (Guitar, Audio Engineering, Theory)

Marco Bressette is a guitar player and audio engineer who has been teaching for over 15 years and playing music even longer. During this time he has traveled North America and Europe playing in Heavy Metal bands while recording and releasing music along the way. Aside from performing and recording, Marco has taught music lessons to students of all ages and skill levels in Guitar, Audio Engineering, and Theory. He is also a graduate of the Mohawk College Music program. Marco's rate is $20.00/half-hour private lesson.

Sarah is a flutist and music teacher from Fonthill. She completed her Bachelor of Arts in Music at Brock University (2014), followed by her Bachelor of Education (Intermediate/Senior) at Queen’s University (2015). As a student at Brock, and upon completion of her B.Ed, Sarah assisted with band classes and after school programs at E. L. Crossley Secondary School. Sarah also completed her RCM Grade 8 Piano. She has been a community member of ensembles including the Brock University Wind Ensemble, and Mercredi Musique. Sarah's rate is $20.00/half-hour private lesson.
