Arranging and Playing for the Studio with Tim Davidson
When you or your band get together to record, how can you take your songs up a level? That extra 15% can come down to thinking about song arranging, parts, drum patterns, harmonies and instrumental playing that are a little different from the live performance setting. Your songs feel good live, but you wish they jumped out the speakers a little better from recordings? That's what we will talk about in this workshop; improving the material that is being tracked. Since the days of tape, Tim Davidson has been playing and recording music. He has run Ripple Effect Music since 2006 and has had the pleasure of engineering, producing and mixing for some very talented local artists.
