I bought a second set for my Hagstrom. You can not believe the sound in E flat. These may be a bit stiff for some D necks but the tone is to die for. Blue ribbon for Rotosound.

When I read that Steve Harris needs to re-EQ throughout his show as he wears the strings off his bass, I thought who needs that? When my little sister sent me a set for Christmas, I put them on my Schecter. These really work for me and if I ever see them, I'll buy them. Warning: Big HD strings not for the faint of heart but wonderful tone. My Hagstrom would love these.

I use them for D standard and drop C on my P-bass. I found them too thick and too firm for standard E. They sound great and feel great in D Standard.
