Iya Casuga is currently taking her Bachelor of Music in Jazz & Contemporary Popular Music, with a Minor in Education at MacEwan University and is a former Long & McQuade student. She has been playing for over ten years and started as a clinician in 2019 teaching several junior high and high school students. She has also played in several ensembles, such as the Edmonton Catholic School District Senior All-City Band and University of Alberta Concert Honour Band. She has trained in various styles, and her teaching focuses on technique, rudiments, music notation, and groove. Iya welcomes students of all ages and skill levels.
Her rate is $26 per half hour.
