Chris has been playing guitar and performing in bands throughout Vancouver and the lower mainland since 1998. Currently teaching at several Long & McQuade lesson Centres, he has been guiding budding and advanced guitar players for over a decade. Chris specializes in rock, pop and heavy metal, and teaches composition on the guitar. He is also the facilitator for the Rock Skool program, uniting youth to create music together. Chris teaches for Edmonton Public Schools as a substitute teacher, Edmonton Catholic Schools as a guitar clinician, and Parkland School Division as a Junior High classroom teacher and Musical Theatre assistant, he has post-secondary training in both Music (MacEwan University) and Education (University of Alberta B.A. English, B. Ed. Science). He has taught, performed, recorded , written, produced, and toured nationally and internationally as a professional guitar player for over 30 years, performing with the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra, Junior Gone Wild, including multiple appearances at the Edmonton Folk Festival both as a singer/songwriter and as a sideman. His teaching approach is student centered, seeking to engage and retain student commitment to the instrument through student led pacing and personal choice in the material covered. Each lesson is unique to the student. The challenge of exploring music through this incredible instrument is broken into manageable steps for students of any skill level and for any musical preference.

Chris Stephenson began his passion for playing drums at the ripe age of 12. At 18 years old, and a recent graduate of high school, Chris began his drumming career as a professional touring/recording artist gaining two JUNO Nominations and over a dozen world tours under his belt, to date.
With his experiences as a professional touring/recording artist and masterclass clinician, Chris is now focusing on his knowledge of theory and application in drum performance towards his first educational book ‘The Rhythm Trees’. Having studied under the likes of Alex Landenburg, Thomas Lang, Chris Coleman, Benny Greb, Matt Garstka and Aquiles Priester, Chris has developed his own approach to drumming in hopes to influence, educate and inspire drummers locally and globally. Chris proudly endorses Los Cabos Drumsticks, Mapex Drums, Murat Diril Cymbals and Remo Percussion.

Christian Malette a étudié au cégep de Saint-Laurent et à l'Université de Montréal en jazz ainsi qu'en arrangements pour grand orchestre de type big band, et a fait ses cours de blues avec le bluesman québécois Bob Walsh en l'accompagnant pendant plus de 10 ans. Sa carrière l'a amené à participer à de nombreux festivals à travers le Québec et la France. Il a accompagné aussi la rockeuse Marjo pendant 6 ans. On peut l'entendre sur les deux albums de Marjo et ses hommes Vol 1 et 2.
Christian a aussi son propre orchestre avec lequel il se produit en tant que chanteur et leader. Passionné de son art, il aime le partager avec les jeunes et les moins jeunes !

Christian Malette studied at the Cégep de Saint-Laurent and at the University of Montréal in jazz performance and arranging for large big band type ensembles. Christian took his blues classes with the Quebec bluesman Bob Walsh, accompanying him for more than 10 years. His career has led him to participate in many festivals across Quebec and France. He also accompanied the rocker Marjo for 6 years. You can hear him on the two albums of Marjo and his men Vol 1 and 2.
Christian also has his own orchestra with which he performs as a singer and leader. Passionate about his art, he likes to share it with young and old!

Soprano Christine Brandt was born in Kitchener, Ontario. She played the piano for 12 years before she began her studies in vocal performance at Wilfrid Laurier University in Waterloo, ON. While there she sang with the Maureen Forrester women’s choir where she had numerous opportunities for solo work. She received her Bachelor of Music in 2016 with a minor in psychology and has recently completed her Master's Degree at Mannes School of Music in New York City. Christine enjoys sharing her passion for music with others through teaching piano and voice lessons. She has worked with younger children to spark their interest in music through a music starters program. She has also worked with children’s choirs in her hometown of Kitchener.

As an accomplished singer, songwriter and composer, Cindy makes playing the piano, musical composition and singing an easy and fun experience. She loves leading students of all ages towards making connections with music and meeting their goals in a creative and fun style through tailored lessons and music manipulatives. She maintains a balance of all aspects of music within her lesson plans, including technique, ear training, composition and theory. She has her RCM Level 9 in Piano, and Theory, and has taken several courses in songwriting and music production from Berklee University. Cody Zevenbergen is a professional musician with a B.F.A. in Jazz Guitar Performance from York University. He grew up in South Bruce Peninsula where he still resides today. He is an enthusiastic member of Owen Sound's music scene, having performed at local festivals such as Summerfolk, OTHERfolk, and Lupercalia. He has knowledge of a wide variety of musical styles including Rock, Pop, Jazz, Country and Blues. In his career as chamber musician and orchestral cellist, Colin has played with L'Orchestre Symphonique de Laval, the Thunder Bay Symphony, the Kingston Symphony as acting principal cellist and soloist, at the Ottawa Valley Chamber Music Festival and 'New Music in New Places', and as guest performer for the Scotia Festival of Music. Cora Lockert began singing lessons at the Conservatory of Performing Arts at the age of seven years old, participating in their Juventus Choir program. Cora has obtained high levels of RCM. Cora has been trained in classical, opera and musical theater and also has experience singing pop, rock, and jazz. Cora has performed in many recitals, Regina Music Festival, and Auditioned Scholarships during her time at the Conservatory. Cora attended Balfour Collegiate and was accepted into the Balfour Arts Collective program for grades 11 and 12, where she was cast as Dragon in their production of Shrek the Musical. Cora has worked with children in the performing arts for a number of years, as a dance instructor, a volunteer and assistant for the performing arts camps at the Regina Conservatory, and currently working as an assistant for the Senior and Advanced Glee programs at the Conservatory. She also participates weekly in the Long & McQuade Rock Band program singing in three bands. Cora loves singing and music and can’t wait to pass along her love of music to others. Cora teaches voice lessons online and at the Regina store. Her rate is $25 per half-hour.
